We are a new community recently opened in the past week and are looking for new, permanent members who are clean racers looking to escape the typical online racing scene. We emphasise that we are a clean and friendly racing community aimed solely around casual racing with the odd not-so-serious competition.
We are built upon fair and equal racing no matter what you like to do and it has been created as a Gran Turismo and Forza coalition, both having their own sections of the site. All potential members and registered members must respect each section of the forum and the game involved as we are a community for people who enjoy racing games no matter what console you race on.
Our aim is to provide clean, fair and respectful racing for all of our members no matter what your ability is or if you play on a DS3 or wheel setup. We do not discriminate against nationality, age or creed but we require that you can speak, read and understand English as it is our universal language throughout the forum. We have very strict rules on discrimination amongst our members as well as talking ill of Forza or Gran Turismo. We emphasise that it is a fair and friendly environment for everyone who only look for regular and fun online racing with like minded people.
The types of racing we do (Gran Turismo Races only shown);
- Online Time Attacks
- Weekly Casual Racing (Mixture of different cars/classes)
- Ongoing Offline Time Trails
- Championship Races of varying car classes
- Mini-Endurance Races (Around 60 minute races)
- One Off Races and Events (e.g. Classic GT Car races up to 60 mins in length)
- Member Events (Where any member can run their own race when and how they want to)
We have some simple forum rules that everyone must follow. These are;
- DO NOT post any malicious posts, threats or abuse to any member.
- DO NOT post threads with intent to deface or insult any game. This forum is equal to all Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo users.
- DO NOT use inappropriate language when posting in the forum. However when online on PS3 or Xbox that rule is lifted within reason.
- Be courteous and polite to all members at all times. Forza Motorsport users and Gran Turismo users alike.
- Race clean and fair and overtake responsibly. Do not divebomb into corners (out breaking is a different matter)
- Do Not rage quit from the races. If you must leave for other reasons then that is fine.
- Please try to stay inside the blend line when leaving pits to avoid accidents.
- Take care when rejoining the track if you go off to avoid accidents.
- Avoid foul language in the online lobbies if possible. Everyone makes the odd slip up however.
- Always remain in the state of mind of “it’s only a game and we’re having fun”.
That is pretty much it. We hope to have a small community of both Forza and Gran Turismo racers under one roof sharing stories, photos and whatever else may crop up. We currently have fourteen Gran Turismo Members and seven Forza Members. As the forum consists of Forza 5 people may not have the Next Gen console as of yet, hence the low numbers on that side.
We hope for no more than 40 members on the Gran Turismo side so it can stay a personal community for everyone where we are all friends and not an establishment where the community gets lost.
If you are interested in CCR Forums and would like to join please send me a Personal Message on GT Planet detailing what your PSN ID is (so I can recognise you when registering) and I shall send you the details on how to join with what to do.
Cheers and Happy Racing
