I decided to try the Veyron. Great handling, I was surprised on how well it drives. Fuel though, I believe that on AT it should do only two laps. Managed to squeeze three out of it by shortshifting everywhere and lifting on the straights to maintain the car around 270 km/h.

I have since boosted the braking sensitivity and shifted it +2, but that’s largely a matter of personal preference. I also made note of odd braking behavior with this car in the past using a different tune, so it may just be inherent to the car. The wheels have been downsized and set back to the originals as I feel Ferrari wheels can be as iconic as the cars themselves, this resulted in a PP-reduction of .04, so pretty negligible.

All I can figure is that I overbuilt the car. I will have to revisit the tune once I purchase another F50. The acceleration simply isn’t where it needs to be.

It really is a great drive. I couldn’t get 3 laps with an AT. There was a video on YT earlier this week from HSG Automotive about it, he mentioned the fuel economy, but I don’t recall what he said.

Probably my favorite FF in the game, she is exceptional in the rain. In some ways she felt better on a wet track than a dry one.

No stop! If you were to attempt this, which I don’t recommend, the gearbox needs quite a bit of adjustment.

It drives really nice out of the box, I may try and improve on the fuel economy a bit, but even that is pretty good.

I tested BMW M4 600PP - Praiano

I lowered front and back to 110 or 115, purely for cosmetics from my perspective. Added Race Hards and configured gear box for higher speeds, so it was hitting 180mph on fastest parts with a little to spare. Ended up on 700 if using ecu around 91ish.

Initially insisted on fm1, and short shifting, but still needed to pit every 2 laps, so was beaten as a result.
The elected for fm6 and shifted just short of red line, which allowed for 3 laps worth of fuel. As what usually happens, I could see rain coming in halfway around the 2nd lap, so I toggled fm1 into action as was coming into pits end of the lap for tyre change (for inters).

I then made 2nd stop after 2 or 3 laps of rain for fuel and RH, and cruised home. Elected to wait just before the finish line and cross it when 30 mins were up...

Should be noted that Gallo/Portilla had an accident/yellow flag, think end of lap 3 just before pit row, which may have played a part in how it ended. TBH I was a bit sloppy and made some mistakes too, so probably balanced out. Someone else may want to verify before publishing.

Used TCS1 during rain, 0 rest of race. Should be noted that back can go out easily in dry if car not perfectly straight/hitting pedal reasonably hard using tcs0.

1-stop capable! She has a very clearly defined limit on cornering and if you push her beyond that, you will be in the weeds. As built, the lap time simply can’t be improved much. I have made some post-race adjustments to tighten up the rear-end, but have not tested them yet and they are not reflected in the tuning sheets.

For 3 laps at FM5 (with an AT), it would require a bit of lift and coast. Otherwise, set it at 6 and let her fly!

Don’t quote me on the FM, I THINK that’s what I used. Driven conservatively, even with an AT, I’d bet you can get 3 laps at FM6.

A MT should get you 3 laps at FM6 no problem, I could not get her there with an AT.

Not a typo, I no-stopped Sarthe. Had next-to-no rain, this car would kill you if there was I suspect. It might kill you anyway. Your best bet is just to take it smooth, brake early, don’t push her through turns and disregard the modest lap times.

This car gave me absolute fits and once I finally got her dialed in, the weather played havoc with me. It took 3 attempts just to get an actual Best Lap and it was mediocre and not indicative of the car’s potential. I managed a 4:14, 4:11 and 4:13 opening lap in the 3 races and the Best Lap came out to a 4:18.xxx. I really despise the rigged weather system in this game. The final race hit me with 3 separate rain storms…in 7 laps. That’s not dynamic, its cheating horse-****. The car has very good potential, the game never allowed me to tap into it unfortunately and I can’t afford anymore time in this car today.

Honestly, I ran this one on a whim, but managed to get the win. It was actually super-fun to drive, but would be quite the challenge on Hard I suspect. She is extremely economical and with a MT and the right conditions might be able to no-stop the race. I had 30% left after 4 laps when I had to pit to replace my RM’s. The better play would be 4 laps at FM3 and 3 more at FM1. The brakes are only set that way to spare the RM’s, with RH’s you should be able to turn it back to 0.

Wide offset wheels, that’s it. A wing would probably help a fair bit, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

I tried to use a mix of known, popular tunes and some tunes outside the norm for my initial run-through. The swapped RX-7 tunes are a dime a dozen right now, so I wanted to try something different for Mazda. Rest assured, an RX-7 tune, probably more like 5 of them, will be added at some point.

But yes, I agree, he does have a great RX-7 tune. If you can survive on a 1-stop at Sarthe, the weather more often than not will not allow for it in my experience.

Good to know, but that one will have to wait for the next cycle. I think I’m firmly set on the posted order at this point, provided I can make another $1.7M to buy the Daytona before it goes back into the vault. That will have gotten me every notable road car tuner at least one appearance in the first cycle, which has been a primary goal since I started this.

There’s something very strange going on with the fuel economy on this car and I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the update. More testing is required.

I’m not convinced that this car could win on Hard. There is very little margin for error with it. Drive it like you’re trying to break it because it doesn’t have enough power to really get you into trouble. Note the 2 ‘S’ parts, which makes me even more suspicious of it’s potential if you didn’t have those.
