Championship cancelled due to parents, extremely slow internet..

Couldn´t Q don´t really know why. Time passes by very quickly. (are we doing the weekly Q or do we Q right before the Race ?).

Daytona Road is a easy Track but the first Turn is one of the toughest Turns in my opinion.
Rest of the Track is easy but if you miss the correct line you loose plenty of time due to the monster Straights you have here.

I think its better that we qualify before the race on race day, at fastest first set up, one lap, like we did at the first pre season race, but with a twist,

DAYTONAROAD.jpg

step 1, everyone goes on track,
step 2, people wait in pits,
step 3, everyone goes on track in last race finishing order,
step 4, everyone waits between turn 3 and 5 in order of last races finishing results until all driver's are on track,
step 5, once everyone is in that section, Rallymorten will tell the 1st place to go, then everyone follows the leader with interval's of 5 seconds between each car,
step 6, once everyone finishes their lap the return to turn 3-5, and await the field to finish their laps,
step 7, once everyone completes their laps Rallymorten will start the race,

Sounds good.
@all: Remember not to go full throttle into the pits. It will reset you and you loose 5-7 seconds => 160kph is the fastest entry speed I think where you not be reseted.

Just a little notice for you (hopefully everybody knew it).

also pit attack angle will reset you, you have to be straight and on the "right" side I think of the thick yellow line that guides entry into pit lane, I think its been made like that from 2.09, the whole track is different, the bumps and transfer from the start line to turn 1 have been increased and really catch you out if you use a wheel, and the bus stop chicane has been completely remodelled, the kerbs are high and WILL flick you into the wall at entry or throw you off the track at exit, plus the "corner cutting" walls have been made longer and almost penetrate the circuit boundaries,

there's 5 tracks I have noticed these changes, amplified if using a wheel, turn 1 on Indy oval will induce a bowel movement, the road version isn't as bumpy once through turn 3 but the screen pitches to a 14 degree angle on the drag strip, all versions of the Nurburgring have amplified bumps and kerbs, particularly the first apex point of the of the long bend before the gigantic straight on the nordsheife section, easily get 2 wheels off the ground,

Im for it. I don't really like the 5 or so at a time. its too hard to keep track of everyone. That was just a quick fix anyway

GVE was to short to have everyone spaced out so 5 and 5 worked, until 1 or 2 people went out on track and set faster times while waiting for the rest to qualify, this format will stop the pelicans from doing another lap, if successful,

Which pit exit will we use? The natural exit to the right brings you right onto the track at that notorious turn 1 and so could cause problems. I suggest we use the left hand pit exit along the barrier and out on the short straight to turn 3.

I would agree, its safer and more of a challenge to navigate, I can't believe PD wont make the cars use that under the pit guidance system,

Bingo

Any speed limits on that or once we get out of the pits and into the left lane we just gun it?

I know! There should be a wall there.

I'm glad we are using the correct exit lane

Go as fast as you can. Might not want to gun it though

not today mate, can't perhaps tomorrow, if not I will hopefully see you at the race,

I haven't even tried 1 lap yet, think i best get on it tomorrow, i wasn't to far of the lead times for the last race so hopefully this will be the same.

Same here I haven't turned 1 lap here. I'm hoping I can finish mt Jstc tuning session earlt tonight, so I can work on DTM. If not ill get it in Friday night before DTM starts.

I guess I should do a lap too, and also qualify,

Joe, perhaps after DTM we could do a practice then qualify after DTM?
