Championship cancelled due to parents, extremely slow internet..

possibly, I wouldn't mind if it was in the lead up to the grand prix,

The race yesterday was cancelled, can possibly be done at another day though I must admit this doesn't seem to have the same "humanity" feel as my WRC: races not being long enough, unexpected coincides with F1, trouble with the CLK/M3 thing.. I honestly feel my work with WRC is greater pleased. You're welcome to make your own championship with DTM and see how it goes. Admitted some parts could perhaps be done better, but it takes participation from both parties. BAZZER and Mel is excused for R1 and all (especially Dave) for R2, but let me remind that if I feel my work is not accepted it's just for me to push a button and there won't be racing.

Oh, and about the "not being on GTP" part: try living like this: unless you're at your dad or home alone you can only play for an hour, then come back and tell me you don't understand.[/rant]

I'm not being funny but if you can't or don't have the time to run the series then you shouldn't. You have nothing to rant about seeing as people turned up for the race and you didn't even bother to let anyone know.

You just said the race was cancelled yesterday, yet this is the only time you mentioned it and posted about it - 24 hours after the scheduled race time? Is that acceptable from the guy who is supposedly running it? If anybody should be ranting it should be the people who turned up for the race and posted in here to see what was going on, only to be completely ignored all day. Good job.

That's it. I don't know why but my ideas never seem to get past round 2. Yeah, I might have made a mistake, but have some understanding for my situation

It's not the ideas that didn't get past round 2 it was the communication issue only, nobody new what was going on. You came online on your PS3 at 5.40 my time. 20 minutes before the race and you didn't message anyone to tell them the race was off, you just logged back off.

I know people have difficulties to attend every race, I'm in the same situation as I'm not always based were my PS3 is, all it would of took though was 2 mins to type on here you couldn't make it and asked for a re-schedule or a steward to run the race. There were 3 of us in a room for over an hour waiting.

The way it's setup to run is great, the cars are very closely matched and it would of been a great race if it happened.

I think the CLK needed 10BHP taken off, the BMW at 404BHP the TT the next point up, then the A4 and Astra at 414BHP, but otherwise we had a good field for the first few event's, and I actually did get home in time for the event, by about 15 minutes, I checked the thread and nothing so I went to bed, seeing as it was another 45 hour day for me,

Right, I think it's safe to say there was quite a fair bit of misunderstandings and miscommunication, and I'll gladly take my part of the responsibility. So, during the week, I'll reset EVERYTHING that has to do with DTM and start on a fresh, which may mean some changes which might result in a reset of signups too (thinking of excluding the heavy BMW to introduce success penalties). Be aware that I'm still quite pressed on time those weeks so unless something miraculous happens I most likely won't get online before the last minutes. I apologise again for the misunderstandings and I hope you can forgive me and be part of season 1.1 :)

rally bud, if time is your biggest issue, then have one of us open the room and run it, like GVE, then all you have to do is save the replay and work out final results and stewarding,

So are we re running Daytona this weekend or skipping to the next track for the following weekend. I wanted to get some practice in snce I have a window for it tonight.

Time shoud be fine if those who can will gather in a predefined lounge (I don't really care as long as we follow the guidelines, mainly being Mics off to prevent lag and distracting others) and get going somewhat fast :)

I'll work on the OP as soon as the power is back on (dang school, got no control of when there is and is not power supply  )

So guys anyone who wants to race Daytona this Saturday we need a response from you so we can press on with practicing for this up-coming event?

yeah I'm up for it this weekend, but I think everyone else has left,

Yeah, not many (including myself, apologies :( ) seem to have that high interest after all. I'll reset signups to see who regularly checks and thus are still interested. Same counts here as for WRC, if we're not getting enough interest to even turn to the old FIA points system then I'll close it.

I´m still willing to do this, but sometimes my Real-Life collides with this => 80% show-up for me.
Still taking the VX Astra as a Car (it´s not the fastest and not the slowest and with a good tune I can keep up with the faster Chassis).

BTW: What´s with Mel ??

It's not dead yet folks :) you still up for Audi curtex?

ya id like to stay in my audi its the only DTM car i have. plus my style suits it very well. might put the turbo on though, its kinda slow haha

Hold up real quick, are we re starting the series and picking new cars, or continuing the same series in our same cars?
