Somehow, I love the black Mazda more than the regular, although they both look absolutely beautiful.

Technically the Stealth version is not the GT PD replica but the RENOWN turned black. ^^ is not shared yet. I think I'm going to remake it as the original and share it.

Not necessarily "classic" being only GT6 vintage but I tossed the R18 livery on the old quattro.

Not sure why the decals on the fenders show up all funky in the thumbnail. They show fine using the car in scapes and races.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for retro liveries...
Probably my fav Audi livery on what was my fav model... the A4 (B5).
Lucky for you that livery is actually in GT1/2. Judging by what you wrote in your post, I take it you didn’t read the OP.
Sure this thread is about retro liveries too, but only if they were in Gran Turismo previously.

Actually, I did! I post in the other Livery threads as well and usually contemplate about whether to post in the regular GTS thread or this one, but I definitely remember this livery being in the game. I assumed that it was a fairly well-known livery, but I guess I should have listed the game too. I'll do that next time. 👍Lucky for you that livery is actually in GT1/2. Eventually I did the Astra Touring Car replica, on the Subaru Impreza Gr.3, as I think that the fenders and wheel arches were close to the DTM model.
I did two versions of it. One is the perfect carbon copy, but as I was bothered to see Opel logos on a Subaru, I also did a more realistic one based on Subaru sponsors instead of Opel (OVD is the finance branch of the Opel group so I replaced it too,and the "Genau mein Ding" in the rear became "Proud of Boxer").
Aestheticly I personnaly prefer the Opel version, but it may be nostalgia...
Let me know which one deserves to be shared !

It is well known indeed, but I don’t know if that’s world-wide or mainly Europe, since it was a BTCC racer.
But no, that’s not why I made that assumption, it was because you said you was a sucker for retro liveries, making me think you thought this was a retro livery thread of all kinds
not a big deal if you include the original game/car/livery, but after seeing a lot of posts with them, I must say I prefer it. But that’s just my opinion.

I someone posted this car before from someone else, but I wanted to bring that design to a new level! This has many decals from the original as I could muster with shapes trying to replicate the original while adapting it for the FT-1.
I love how this car turned out!
I found a neat trick to do lettering on the bottom of the wing! Put your logo on the top, invert it vertically, max out projection angle, (likely depth too) and it will appear on the bottom. Really cool! You will need to put something on the top to cover the ugly inverted lettering.

I wouldn't be surprised. The common ones definitely seem to be. Though I'm some of the more niche ones haven't made it yet. I will be making one of them down the line.
Althought the ‘96 and ‘00 Castrol Supra are widespread, the (ugly) ‘01 Tom’s Supra is not. I did not see the Cdma One from GT2 yet too. And I’m currently doing the au Cerumo FT-1 along with other projects. The NSX and Skyline are almost all done, at least those from GT2-GT4. The more recent ones are not so present in this thread (but you can find almost all of them online).
And your Denso is very nice. I did one in the demo, back in page 2 of this topic. When I see my liveries now, I can see that I (and others) really step up my game !
And there is still lots of stuff to do, like this SuperAutobacs Apex MR-S...
