Hey Guys.
This was my first time to race with you all.
And i must say that it was really nice driving with you.

Thanks Logan for the shorter transmission on Matterhorn.

Now i just need to fine tune my suspension (it's to "wobbly"?).

Greets Easy
With the "Dino Blue" one ^^

p.s.: i hope i played fair enough.
with "room making" and so on =)

Thank you Fergus for a good time.

Hey, Goofy. I got another podium after you left, came home third at my favorite track Monaco.
Thanks to Fergus for setting the track up.

I was really satisfied with how things went overall, but I wish I could make one thing undone though,
I cut Fergus off in the first Matterhorn race. I made a mistake going wide and the car just turned on it's own back onto the line where Fergus was (I saw you losing control in my rear view, Fergus).
I punished myself by letting the entire field through afterwards :)

And yes, Fergus mentioned my newly started Z8 Championship (thanks for that).
I wouldn't want it to clash with Smiley's championship tomorrow so mine starts 90 minutes before his and it should
be finished in time for when his Pre 73 classic 500pp racing series starts.
I would love to see some of you Mini friends come join in some Z8 racing.

Have you heard this one;
A Mini Cooper walks into a bar carrying jumper cables.
The bartender says "Hey buddy, don't start anything in here."

If you look back earlier in this thread, I posted one of my suspension tunes, it's a good starting point :)

No worries Jocke, it happens. Especially on a difficult task like that.

It's why we post the track agenda ahead of time, so it gives people a chance to prepare if they want to. And if you see me or Logan online, chances are we will have a Mini testing lobby going, so feel free to drop in. :)

Good Mornhig guys

Great races yesterday. I had problems seing some participants, I hope i didn't bump any of you.

Thanks Mik for the tip on the tires.

When you have access to the replays, i woul appreciate if somebody could tell me how many participants took place in the second Nurb. race, and what was my position (I was 3rd out if the 6 I saw, but I am afraid this will not be true!)

Thanks

There were 13 in the second race I think, I was second unless and invisible car got through!. I think I saved the replay. I quit the first Nord race at turn 1 as I could only see four including me.

I was perfectly PITed in the first Silverstone race by @SmileyWRX, but I'm not sure if he could see me or not - I know he can be fairly aggressive in his pursuit of victory . I've been at the receiving end of some moves by a couple of the faster drivers over the last three weeks:indiff:.

Good tracks last night. The Matterhorn track was fun - more my kind of track than the flat - and although there was a fair bit of mayhem  I thought everyone was pretty measured - especially in the second race 👍.

I'll see if I can sort a few pics again.

Yes i remember the first Silverstone race.. I was wondering why you had done that!! I guess you tried to explain on the chat afterwards, but the PS3 censorship commitee didnt give you a chance

I did not see any of @SmileyWRX at all. Not that i care much as I normally loose him out is sight after the first two corners..

Anyway the races were very good. i had some pleasant rides following good drivers and managed to make a couple of nice passes.

looking forwards to next wednesday

Yes, to be fair to @SmileyWRX, in the replay it looks like we can't see each other. He's not usually that bad!

Hi,
Yesterday was weird, in Sony way of course.
Silverstone only four drivers in race, Nordschleife first race only three drivers... that is why i rejoined before second race and then was ok i think.
Sorry Woodski, i can not remember to hit or block anybody. What are you saying that i pushed you or what in the pit entry?? If so, please sorry again, something went wrong with online players visibility.i guess. Wll check the replay if there is one on my PS3.

Definitely a lot of invisible cars last night. I'm sure we couldn't see each other on the track Smiley, so no worries 👍. It was a PIT Manoeuvre (or maneuver) - sometimes used by US cops to take out a car in a chase (there are videos on YouTube). It was turn 2, the shallow left-hander; watching the replay it's a perfect execution . I initially thought it was @LOGANHEAD831 as I'd passed him at the start :odd::lol:.

Earlier I just meant sometimes you faster guys can muscle your way through, but that one of the things that wins you races - you wouldn't take someone out on a shallow corner like that. Logan bumped me wide in the second race - I obviously braked more than he was expecting for the right hander on to the straight.

I screwed up in the Cape Ring race though - you and Goofy were on me when I ran wide after the jump, I thought you'd get past me and I was trying to see where you were instead of braking for the tricky left/right :dunce:.

I didn't experience any problems last night. I saw all the cars every race and no glitches or anything like that.
Was I just lucky?

Yes you were lucky =D
I guess i saw all that cars, but only my car sound was gone (not the sound from the other drivers).
But after a rejoin it was ok.

only sometimes my tire sound was gone then but the engine sound was there xD

Every update brings new bugs ^^
Just like GTA 5 =D
But PD fix it faster.

Greets Easy

I missed the first races at Silverstone as it was very difficult to get the race I was participating in earlier in the evening, there was people having no sound and some were dc´d so we had to do a lot of restarts.
Then when I came into Mik´s Mini room I didn´t have sound :banghead: I rejoined twice and then all was good for me, I could also see during the races that some people didn´t see eachother.
Races was good as always altough Matterhorn was difficult beacuse of the high speed in the downhill sections and it was very easy to get out of line there. But overall I think it was careful driving by all of us:tup:
Already looking forward to next week:dopey:

It looks like I miss good action on Wednesday!!
Don't worry cause I won't miss it next week so my Green MINI will be ready!

I just want to say that by me coming and racing With Mik has helped me open NEW door here at GTPlanet. Fergus has a really nice Club going on and I am happy I did a Video for him even though he didn't ask me to do it. I did it cause we share the same passion For racing and cause we are part of the GTPlanet Family.

I have been ask to help other fellow Club members to help them and Create them a video and that makes me happy that I can help somebody if they need my help.
Sick Cylinder Is one of them and Maybe JockeP22 as well. I also helped anothe Club Member "Amac500" to make him a video in hope that they can be seen. Thank you guys for being a great crowd and if any of you need help just send me a PM and we can figure something out

Here I leave you with my S.A.C video and Amac500... I hope I can work on JockeP's video soon!

who's going to do the photos? :yuck:

**Gets caught daydreaming as everyone else takes one step backwards**

I've taken a few from three of the races - it's just a matter of getting the time to post them up 👍

A few shots from Wednesday Sept 17th...

I like how your fifth pic gives good impression of how steep that hill is.
