This would be the Lord of the Rings tournament....


OK guys I would like to get some feed back about running a 10 race tournament with the Mini's .... 16 point spread 16 points for first. 1 point for 16th...we would run this in the middle of the Wednesdays night mini race as a ten lap feature with one pitstop manitory during the race.

"Lord of the Mini Ring"

This would be a 5 race tournament on all the "Mini" tracks 15 lap races... 1 pitstop manitory... Autumn ring mini forward and reverse, Madrid mini forward and reverse, Chamonix mini snow rally track.

Let me know what you guys think of the two options. I will do the scoring of the driver in the tournament as well as I would want another driver to do so as well to keep everything on the up and up...


I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone on your thoughts about this tournament.


There are 16 tracks with the name "Ring" in the name not including all the nur burg layouts... We would like to have the tournament finally to be at the full Nurburg Ring. With at least 5 laps... With double points at the finally.

Lobby rights were given to FergusMik; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Video-making to Manny, great powerslider and craftsman of the Club trailers. And nine, nine Mini's were gifted to Smiley, who above all else desire power. For within these Mini's was bound the strength and will to govern each circuit. But they were all of them deceived, for another car was made. In the land of Germany, in the fires of Mount BMW, the Dark Lord Z8 forged, in secret, a Master Car to control all others. And into this car he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all drivers. One Car to rule them all.

One by one, the free people of the Clubs & Leagues forum fell to the power of the Car. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of GOOFY and bergele marched against the armies of Z8. And on the slopes of Eau Rouge, they fought for the freedom of the Mini.

Victory was near, but the power of the Car could not be undone. It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that LOGAN took up his Mini's gear shifter. Z8, the enemy of the free peoples of GTP, was defeated. The Car passed to Jocke, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever, but the hearts of car enthusiasts are easily corrupted. And the Car of power has a will of its own. It betrayed Jocke, to his doom.

And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth. And for two and a half thousand years, the Mini passed out of all knowledge. Until, when chance came, it ensnared a new bearer. The Mini came to the creature Wayne Gratiot, who took it deep into the tunnels of Summerland, CA.
And there it consumed him. The Mini brought to Wayne unnatural long life. For 500 years, it poisoned his mind. And in the gloom of Wayne's cave, it waited. Darkness crept back into the forests of the world. Rumor grew of a shadow in the east, whispers of a nameless car. And the Mini of power perceived its time had now come. It abandoned Wayne. But something happened then the Mini did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable. An American, gurizzi of California. For the time will soon come when Americans will shape the fortunes of all...

Lord of The Rings - Very good. :D

Just to sit on the fence - I don't mind either proposal. Possibly edging towards the longer "Rings" idea. But since each option would be good why not use them both. Test the water with the short one first and see if everything runs smoothly (if not, sort out the problems) then move on to the main one.

But the final encounter should of course be at Trial Mountdoom. ;)

Note: For record keeping and scoring, it's probably best to let PD fix the replay problem before starting anything.

Another great night of Mini Copper Madness!!?:mad::mischievous:🤬:D:P:cheers: Really good close races very good driving by all!!!

I am very happy with all the positive feed back from the membership about the "Lord of the Rings" and Mini Ring tournament ideas. I will be presenting a more detailed description of the format and tracks to Mik in the next few days to week...

We are going to hold off on starting any tournament till the sound issues are all fixed :dunce::dunce::dunce::dunce:

I really enjoy racing with each and everyone of you!!! Keep up the greatness!!!!
