For anyone that is interested, this fella sets up a room once in while for "Little Classics".

I have raced with his group before, they are a bosterous group and good racers. I had lots of fun. It was actually this series that prompted me to create mine, as I had configured the Mini to 435pp for his room.

I was fairly competitive with our Mini.

Great pics, especially the two-wheelers!:scared:

PS. Looks like a few doubles, unless I'm seeing things? :)

This would be the Lord of the Rings tournament....

OK guys I would like to get some feed back about running a 10 race tournament with the Mini's .... 16 point spread 16 points for first. 1 point for 16th...we would run this in the middle of the Wednesdays night mini race as a ten lap feature with one pitstop manitory during the race.

"Lord of the Mini Ring"

This would be a 5 race tournament on all the "Mini" tracks 15 lap races... 1 pitstop manitory... Autumn ring mini forward and reverse, Madrid mini forward and reverse, Chamonix mini snow rally track.

Let me know what you guys think of the two options. I will do the scoring of the driver in the tournament as well as I would want another driver to do so as well to keep everything on the up and up...

I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone on your thoughts about this tournament.

There are 16 tracks with the name "Ring" in the name not including all the nur burg layouts... We would like to have the tournament finally to be at the full Nurburg Ring. With at least 5 laps... With double points at the finally.

I don't think I'm going to have time to do pics again, but it looks like @FergusMik @IfAndOr and @LOGANHEAD831 have got it sewn up anyway 👍, nice work.

Yes there are!

I'm going to offer early apologies for Wednesday (8th) as it is my birthday and I'll be going to a local pub for cheap steak night and a few ales with my wife 👍.

[QUOTE="FergusMik, post: 10133949, member: 260929"Another October baby, mine is on Friday.
And another one. Mine is later this month also!

So I don't forget I'll get it in now - Happy birthday for Friday Mik. :)

It's a shame you can't gift cars anymore in GT6. I'd send you both a Mini.:gtpflag:[/QUOTE]
Thanks If, maybe I'll treat myself to a new Mini on Friday, lol.

Have a nice birthday Woodski and it would be fun if you joined us after your pub visit  :sly:

Congrats Gabriel to your cover image, well done

Way to go Logan! It's awesome that we are racing with celebrities. :)
The pit lane will be full of paparazzi! He'll expect special treatment now as well - Out of my way celebrity coming through.

Yeah, nice one Logan. It's great that your work is recognized.

Not the Gran Turismo video game
We know that because it's a picture of a Porsche.

Yes, I'd be even worse than usual . Anyway, I can imagine the conversation...

Wife: Nice dinner, makes a change to get out, and not have the kids.
Me: Yes lovely, now run along dear I want to play cars. I'll be quiet when I come to bed.
Wife:
Me:  :scared: :ouch:

Next morning.
Work Colleague: How did you get that black eye?

Cheers all, and happy birthday to fellow Octobians (?) Octoberites (?) or something.

Hehe Woodski, if you all look at my picture you can see that Goofy is always ready to serve me with drinks during races:sly:
The pic was taken during an evening last autumn when we had a 5 year celebration on our forum and we decided to just play around and if we wanted it was "allowed" to have something to drink during the night...
I can tell it was more and more fun to see drivers take some unusual ways along the track the later it was during the evening.

Happy birthday mate :cheers::cheers:

Enjoy the evening

I'm going to be busy for the next few days, so I won't have time to post any pictures from last night, but I'm sure someone will. :)

On that note, I think we should try to keep the pictures down to like 5 or 6 per post, it's been pointed out that this thread takes a long time to load especially on smartphones :scared:

I will try and post next week's agenda soon as well.

I wondered where you were.

Dagnabbit - My word of the day! 👍
Yesterday was pretty hectic, I visited my boss at the hospital after work. He suffered a cardiac arrest
on Monday night / Tuesday morning. I've known him for nine years and he's a very friendly guy,
he seems to be doing alright now for he was expected to be released today or tomorrow. 👍
