Last week was great - hopefully I will race again tonight. The following is the cutaway Mini at the Science Museum in London - I used to enjoy looking at this exhibit and it was just like my Mum's 1959 model (except her car was complete). The mechanic who looked after Mum's car used to play around with Shorrocks centrifugal superchargers - I don't remember him doing a Mini, but he did have a Supercharged Ford Anglia and a Supercharged Austin 1300 which frightened her silly when she had to borrow it when the Mini wasn't ready in time!

Try the room on 16 for this week FergusMik - 12 isn't going to be enough (you can always trim it back next week if there are problems and kick anyone who is suffering from a laggy connection!)
That's cool!
Ok, I'll give it a go at 16, my PS3 is hardwired and I have loads of stable bandwidth. Hopefully it will be good.

Hi guys, Unfortunately I will not be around tonight to Join in, so will hope to be with you guys next week. This will also give me time to setup the car and get some practice in.

Enjoy

Hopefully looking good for tonight 👍. Doubt if I'll stay awake for the whole programme though .

Not had much in the way of testing or practice, so I'll stay out of the way if the car or me lack the requisite performance  :dopey:.

Hey Fergus I am available to do some MINI races tonight with you and your CREW

Ill send you a friend request that way I can show up today later on

Question: Post Number one are the official Rules? No changes will be made?

:gtpflag:

I thought I would throw a tune out there for some of the newcomers, I'm currently using this on one of my Minis.

Real good starting point tune for the mini!

What am awesome event! I had so much fun in the lobby. I got my first WIN!!!! In tonights races much thanks to everyone that came out. There where some every good drivers and great track choices. I can't wait till next week! Apex Life!!!!

Hi,

I would like to participate tonight, if there is still some open space

I got my Classic Mini and am looking for some good moments of fun & fair racing.

I am not very experienced, but I read the racing regs and do my best not to disturb faster cars.

Cheers,
Fun time tonight thanks for coming out.

That was a lot of fun guys. Is it Wednesday again yet?

I really wanted my headset working so I could talk and apologize for my off track adventures that affected some of you. I was having so much fun watching everybody else race, I caught enough grass or wall to get me loose several times.

Hope to see some practice/tuning rooms during the week too. So many tracks to explore. Unlimited fun ahead.

Yes, great event @FergusMik, good work. Fun and close racing as you would expect from the same spec cars, but I think we need to hide a few extra weights in @SmileyWRX 's Mini next time 💡.

Highlight for me was the first Nordschleife race and the four car draft - my heart was pounding . I think @MannYhAvitZ gears were a bit short  (I think it was you that got caught up at the end of Dottinger).
Too many mistakes on my part ended my own races :dunce:, and was getting a bit tired by the second Nord race and clipped the grass several times - sorry @Wayne Gratiot - and let @IfAndOr get away :dopey:.

I don't know how often I'll be able to make it, but I will be back for more Mini racing 👍, In the mean time my tune needs a bit of work...

Hi guys.
Just reg'd on gtplanet on the back of last night.
Racing those minis with you guys was a pleasure:cheers:.
Think I added most of you on psn, if I didn't, I will.

See you here or on track soon.👍👍

Welcome to :gtpflag:.

I'm sure you'll find lots of useful stuff and a few like-minded souls 👍.

Great fun tight races yesterday. it was a pleasure to drive with you all.
Too bad I had to quit before Laguna Seca and Nurburgring, but I live in GMT+1 and it was getting late.
I absolute need to make it to the end next time. Will take some extra coffee. I definitely want to race on Nurburgring !!

Cheers,

Yes, I seemed to spend a number of races chasing your tail!

I realized we never did Laguna or Roma, we jumped right to Nurburgring!

I'll put those in for next week. :)

The Nurburgring replay was great to watch, so many photos to be had, I'll be busy over the next few days trying to get some out of there.

I do sometimes open a Friends only room to practice and whatnot, so please feel free to jump in anytime if you see me online. 👍

I was having so much fun that I never noticed we'd skipped Laguna or Roma! :dopey: It flew by all too quickly.

Great racing everyone. 👍
And thanks for the (late) evenings entertainment FergusMik.

(I'll try and grab a few pictures and add them later)

You mean masterpieces... not pictures :sly:
