Decided to keep it more at the roots of GT5! (I will post more abstract ones in my gallery later...;))

I found an artist who draws pretty crazy and cool abstract pictures. Straight on a raceway! :D
Check him out here!
Hope it qualifiers as "abstract"

Abstract art - Art with realistic objectives, but distorted in an unrealistic manner.

Non-Objective art - As the name suggests, no clear representation of real objects.

Just thought I would let you all know ;-)

That's probably drawing lines in the sand here that don't need to be drawn. For all intents and purposes, in regards to this competition, non-objective art is abstract art - it's just a matter of how far someone wants to explore what is familiar and recognizable in their image. Nato's, for example - I'm almost positive it's the LFA's exhaust, but to someone who isn't as knowledgeable with cars, it could represent something else (or more accurately, nothing at all). Or Ceiling_fan's; it reminds me of Jackson Pollock if he only had a camera and some lights on hand ;). Mine? It's on the back straight at Trial Mountain, uses Panning Mode 1, and involved a head-on collision. Then, I just looked up...

The major problem here is everyone has a slightly different opinion on what Abstract really is. If we start splintering it into all the sub-categories, it will only confuse people more. I personally love themes based firmly on the "Art" side of things (Minimalism is a fantastic one too), but either way, this is definitely playing out as a very interesting change from Realism last week!

You're spot on with my entry SlipZ - it is indeed the LFA exhaust. 👍

FINAL ENTRY

Still Motion

I'm a bit surprised at the results considering this took me all of 5 minutes to do. :odd: Hope it fits in with the theme. Original here.

Very bloodybeautiful see! 👍👍👍👍👍
...and very painful to choose the best because majority entries are AWEmazing! :ouch:

I tried the fireworks with all sorts of settings - couldn't get anything like that so I doubt it's fireworks.

Not sure why I am entering after seeing all these amazing pics, but here goes anyway:
