This race better not count for points! This will be the last race of mine that he will EVER supervise.

I'm not commenting on it, other than saying it was bull on the AUEC Board and cshardy62096.

Eva, the board did what it felt was necessary to ensure that the championship would continue carefully and without worry. Your lack of care for popular opinion is what make everything necessary.

Popular opinion, in this instance, wasn't the right opinion. The AUEC Charter specifically states how cautions should be handled "regardless of track dimensions". That's been there since 2003 when the IRG was in rFactor. You of all people should know that. But instead of staying true to the Charter, as I insisted, Hardy decided to whimper out and change the safety car regs on the spot, a power only three people total, him not being one, that can do that. The only thing championship managers can do is change the technical regulations of that series, not edit the Charter to their will, which you just allowed him to do last night. You say I'm not considerate of "popular opinion", I'm not when the mother document is of question.

Note how Route X was completely abandoned in favor of Motegi. Hardy moved the race to a track that was still an oval, but was easier to use safety cars on. The Charter was made when the Nürburgring was the only desperately long track to do caution periods on, not a 19 mile superoval. Hardy managed to save a race night when you wanted to drag it out. He was simply trying to manoeuvre around what the Charter was NOT MEANT TO COVER. You quoted a phrase from the introduction to the safety car section. I'll quote the very last exit paragraph, written by Cristine:
"If ever would there be a time where the framework of this Charter seems illogical or unfit, that overseer of power may disrupt following of this to change the situation to refit into the Charter at any means. This maiden document is meant to be the primary and ultimate code for all members and guests, but it may be unsuitable in some cases. In those cases, ACTION MUST BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY TO MAKE THE CHARTER SUITABLE AGAIN."
Hardy was in the right.

I will confess that I had requested a change in Safety Car speed to make the excessive amount of time a SC period takes go by a bit easier. Even though I had to abandon the race myself I felt that would have been best. Sorry if that's a key issue in what happened last night. :scared:

The biggest issue resulted in Angel being removed from controlling the championship.

Updated SA roster for the Nürburg 12 Hour race:
#0-Peelster1/#29-trobes29
#16-GTP_Tay
#17-Xx-_-DARKRAI-_-X (pending confirmation)
#18-robertlm89 (pending confirmation)
#48-SA_Selene
#52-nascarguy22 (pending confirmation)

I will say this, although I was not there last night hardy has problems of informing drivers of rules of the race or does not fully explain it. So most of the ntc championship I was puting my self under much strictor rules then he said because in my first race under auec I got a pit line breach as I never knew of it until the message I got after angle did penalties. So after that I was never sure if he said every thing.

I am announcing that I will be handing over the #7 to cshardy62096 for the TEC next year so he can pilot the Toyota TS030. I will pilot the Mazda 787B Stealth Model as #27

An formal announcement will be made on that later this week. I would bet on the short course being added to the X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship, but I don't have anything else

Update on the X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship calendar: The Red Bull Ring in Spielburg, Austria will host rounds 16 and 17 at the short course and full circuit respectively. This decision followed a diagnostics test of the series and the new venue this morning. More about this and other series news will be posted to the website hopefully this afternoon by Kunimitsu

Okay...since the website is currently being worked on for 2015, I will go ahead and explain the TEC changes that have been approved. On July 1, 2014, all PC Class cars will have a regulation change to 700 hp, 950 kg. These regulations will comprise the P1 Class next year. After the PC 6 Hours of Germany, the schedule has been modified, removing Matterhorn, adding Red Bull Ring and Twin Ring Motegi, and shuffling some of the races.

Why did we switch from the PP system? I (personally) liked it better as it added more room to strategize (power over weight/vice versa) and it would allow all of the cars in its category to take part. I say the last bit as cars like DeltaWing and the TS030 can't make that 700hp mark. This is just how I feel about the balance of performance please don't feel like you must cater for me. Rules are rules and if I don't like em' I just won't race. Now enough of my complaining, thanks for adding the Red Bull Ring to the schedule!

It was switched because it allowed a specific three cars dominate the series. DeltaWing doesn't follow regs at all because it also underweight, and the Toyota TS030 is a P2 Class car next year, already claimed by Cherokee Motorsports. As for DeltaWing, it never has actually fit into a class, which gives the drivers of it free range to run as it pleases. Next year, DeltaWing can actually be P2 competitive, as it is in real life. That is the ultimate goal.

It is also of note that setting a PP limit would carry the same issues and more. Toyota, regardless of scale, would be outdriven unless the PP limit was 630 (GT Class currently reaches 610 making it a very small gap)

Thread has been update to include the following:
-Changes to the 2015 driver roster, up to date as of Jule 19, 2014.
-Updated schedule for the X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship up to round 25. Oval races are highlighted in bold print. NOTE: All dates except September 1 are final. September 1 is Hardy's anniversary with his girlfriend, so that may become a Tuesday night race.
-Updated Total Endurance Championship calendar.
-Updated rules guideline for the Nurburg 12 Hour race.

Also, I would like to confirm a few rule changes for 2015 regarding the TEC. In certain instances, say, cars with the number 7. If there is a number dispute, one side may go back to using their personal number rather than the number on the car. A perfect example of this is the Bentley Speed 8 and the Toyota TS030. Hardy will drive one of his team's Toyota's as #96, his personal number, while I will continue to pilot the #7 Bentley, which is also my personal number. This rule allows certain cars to be run despite having a number clash in the liveries. HOWEVER, for these certain cars to be used, one team MUST use the numbers on the cars already. Both sides cannot use their personal number as it becomes too confusing and distracting.
Another change is the classes in TEC. Three classes will be used, P1, P2, and GTE. P1 and P2 will have 4 entrants per race, and is limited to 16 entrants through the season. GTE will have 7 entrants per race. In races where there isn't a safety car (at this point, only Daytona and Le Mans are planned to have safety cars), the 16th entry will float around the three classes. Example: Race one will have a 5th P1 Class entrant, while race 2 will have a 5th P2 Class entrant. Race 3 will have an 8th GT Class entrant, while race 4 will return to the P1 Class.

I hope what I've posted makes the changes make a little more sense now.

Yes it makes a bit more sense. There are still other things I don't necessarily agree with but I will present those at a later date, don't want to sound like an egotistical 🤬.

Go ahead and bring them up. The sooner the better because the 2015 regulation deadline is August 1.

i think i'm not going to run the RedBull Formula Jr Championship for 2014 because it feels to rushed, so it will be running in 2015. with it being run in 2015 i can get teams to sign up be for the session starts, the major plus is that i can get the constructors together so i can host the constructors testing so they can choose their formula for the 2015 session. send me an email at yumalltheway199@gmail.com if you would like to receive the info on how to sing up.

there way be a test session for the RFJC in 2014 with no prizes and there will be like 5-6 races no locking down on formulas and no points, any one can join, will most likely will start in july some time. If you are interested in the RFJC but don't know if its for you, then this is were you find out, and if u are already going to be participating in the RFJC in 2015 then you can use this to learn what type of car you would like to have, and for team owners to get an idea on what they want for there 2015 session as I will be using the car regulation on what would have been used for 2014.
