I thought that I should put this out there. the AUEC Red Bull Formula Jr championship track testing, I will be hosting/monitoring rooms on thursdays and sundays starting now, so if you would like to have a say in what every one races on then add/message FearNear on PSN so you can join in the room as their will be times that it may be held as a friends only room.

Thing that you as a driver can give input for:
-Layouts
-Time
-how long the race should be

After I have Taken every thing that the test drivers have said I will make the Calendar for the 2015 championship

tracks that are going to be in calendar

-At night/dry apricot hill F & R.

Penalties from the 6 Hours of Spa will be in by tonight. Here's who will be watching who.
Evangeline Porter...TNR_LILBUDDY
Selene Espinoza...NearFear
Louis Ravenfield...GTP_Tay
Kunimitsu Kino****a...TNR_FILO
Suji Mioto...CJBMX702/cshardy62096
Alessandro Zamora...abcdef654/nascarguy22

Everyone earned full points from this unless penalties decide otherwise.

Had to take a shower after sweating for 3 hours of the race. My foot still hurts and I'm a bit exhausted but overall...Good Race everyone! Everyone did well and there was finally some green flag racing :)

Penalties are taking longer than expected. Everyone broke rules, so we might have them today. Might...

I wouldn't even say that. Monday night at the earliest. We have to cross examine what everyone found, which is about a day on it's own.

It was such a tough race. I was struggling like hell most of the time tbh

rcb deserves maximum respect for his performance... Untouchable is a word that springs to mind!

I can't help but laugh when I think back to every time I met Hardy on track  I was always so worried I'd hit him and we both kept making mistakes trying to tiptoe around each other haha great stuff!

I'd like to enter the 2015 season please:

#42 GTP_Tay / Scuderia Aguila

TEC Class and car TBA

Thank you you Selene for the team offer. If there are any problems with my number choice, please let me know. I would have liked 16 again but I see it's already taken.

Also, sorry for the double post.

I'm editing this post to save having to make another...

I just received a message from Hardy with the results from Spa. I don't know what LILBUDDY did to receive his penalties but I don't think it's fair. If it was up to me, he'd keep the win :( I was incredibly lucky to be on the lead lap after the final restart.

Sorry LILBUDDY :ouch:

The race report will be available to the public on July 30, 2014, following further investigation. An overall list will be publicised tonight on the website. I will also personally message each driver that earned severe disciplinary actions tonight on PSN.

Personally, I feel it is unfortunate that this happened. 6 Hours is a long time and mistakes do happen, and the six of us were surprisingly lenient to the rules. With that being said, had this race been more critical, a few would have been disqualified for things that happened during warm-up and the race itself. Make no mistake, I will be very clear. If what happened at Spa happens at Nürburgring, suspensions will be given.

I have to echo what Eva has said. From a panel-beater's perspective, we were way more laid back than we should have been, and I believe that was the consensus all the way around. From a team recruiting perspective, I was impressed with only one person's performance, with that person now officially on my team next year. I pray that the next two TEC races show something better than Spa. It was a severe disappointment that won't be overlooked.

I will be switching to my new account TNR_Pfeffer702, so if u have my CJBMX702 account added plz delete it and add my new account, thanks

I would like to point out the following things:
->GTP_Tay is only the second multi race winner in PC Class for 2014.
->NearFear now holds the outright lead for GT Class wins with four this year.
->Class points leaders only have one win among them, but have not yet missed a race.
->The 2014 Nürburg 12 Hour Race will be AUEC's 350th race hosted.
->Since 2011, the Nürburg 12 Hour Race has never seen rain interference. It has however, seen 9 red flags, 827 penalties and 11 suspensions.
->2012 holds the record of teams participating at Nürburg with 19. 2013 holds the record for fewest teams at 5.
->2014 will be the first race in AUEC history to feature driver swaps.

Yes, an AUEC must be made aware of who is driver swapping a week before the race

It's tempting to try and find a partner to swap with but I doubt I'd find anyone up to the task tbh ...I'm assuming it's not a mandatory rule?

No it isn't. In fact most are doing it alone.

About the driver swap deal, I swapped with my little brother, motoracer50, at Le Mans due to unforeseen circumstances. Not sure if that counts however.

redbullrider20, it did count, but that event wasn't where we needed to take a stopping point and allow different accounts to come in.

I am sad to announce that the TEC Brands Hatch race will be my last event of participation in AUEC and in racing leagues in general for the forseeable future. I will continue to be the Director of Competition here, as this role is where I best serve AUEC. Between college, working, being the Director of Competition, and trying to somehow have a normal life, compromises have to be made. I will occasionally step into the cockpit for a few races, but that's it. I will also be looking for my replacement for my team in the P1 Class. That decision will come next week.
To quell another rumor, I will not be driving at the Nürburg 12 Hour race. Brands Hatch will definitely be my last race. The rest of my TEC season will be limited to just pre-qualification for events. I offer all drivers the best of luck at the Nürburgring in the upcoming month. Thank you.

That's a shame Angel. Real life is of course more important, sometimes I forget that haha

I just wanted to enquire about the results page on the website... I'm listed as having competed in and received points for races that I didn't attend and vice versa :odd:

Examples:

I received 12 points for 4th place at Laguna Seca. Unless I suffered short term amnesia that weekend, I wasn't present for that race.

I received no points and no result is shown for Suzuka where I'm fairly certain I finished 2nd to trobes. Mistake, or was I DSQd without my knowing?

I will look into the Suzuka race results, and for Laguna Seca, Hardy listed you as pre-qualification, which granted you 4th.

Ok thanks. I mean, my memory is not the best so there's the possibility that I've mixed up Suzuka with another league but wasn't it the race where the regs were briefly changed to 700pp?

Edit: Actually my memories are a bit odd for most of the races haha

...Daytona, I actually joined the lobby out of curiosity. I had signed up for the X Junior league initially but there was that glitch for a while where you couldn't get the car on track in an online lobby. So I gave the TEC a shot and actually had quite dominant pace. Then of course I realised I had no rain tyres and had to retire haha

Indy, I disconnected and point the blame firmly at my ex flatmate's girlfriend for using a torrent client while I was racing :banghead:

Willow, I was practically falling asleep at the wheel and couldn't find my TV remote to turn my screen brightness up when it started getting dark

Suzuka like I mentioned before, I seem to remember having to learn the track with new regs on the car shortly before the race started. Apologies if this memory is somehow fabricated!

Luckily from there on it started getting a bit better haha

Full list of changes going into effect starting tonight:
->Points now in every AUEC Championship will only be awarded to those that have completed 90% race distance, where as previously, only pre-qualifying was required to earn points. For the TEC, this rule applies to each class in measure of the class winner's distance.
->PC Class will now be known as P1 Class and will utilize 700 horsepower, 950 kilogram weight limit, and still mandatory racing soft tires during dry weather conditions.
->Safety cars will only be applied to during oval races for the X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship.
->TEC races 12 hours or longer in length will become invitation only. Nurburgring remains exempt from this rule.
->Provisionals now only apply to the points leaders and previous race winners of each championship.
