Note: AUEC is compiling it's track ratings report for GT6. This report, done whenever AUEC moves to a new game, is a comprehensive report on what tracks AUEC finds suitable for its championship, key notes on each layout, and other telemetry information. The report will be out in time for the offseason.

Nürburgring 12 Hour qualification starts July 7

Day 1 of the #N12H Dry Qualification sessions and only three teams took track time to practice. Cherokee Motorsports, Scuderia Aguila, and Frostfire Racing was represented by cshardy62096, trobes29, and derpking7 respectively, none of which feeling comfortable enough to use their attempts.

are you allowed to share the qualifying times?
No one ran any qualifying runs, but even so, the only times I would be allowed to show is the fastest time until the end of dry qualifying.

It was probably a bad idea to buy an XB1 and Forza 5 this week wasn't it :dunce: I'll pick up GT tomorrow but I'm fully expecting to have lost whatever edge I might have had...

Sadly I will not be racing the 12 hours of nurberg because have to work that night and I can not be awake in the time that should be sleeping. As well I should also state that I will not be racing a lot because all the times race times are conflicting with my work and I can't afford to get fired over a video game, but I will be racing in 2015 in my championship because it fits in time my schedule. So to near I hope you win the ntc championship! See you in 2015.

They would have to register first and still qualify.

Current Pole Time is 8:21.419 by #96 set this morning.

I'll qualify tomorrow if there's a room. I doubt I'll get anywhere near 8:21 in the Corvette though, I couldn't find a stable setup for the thing at all.

I managed 8:24.396 ...not sure if I'm provisional 2nd or 3rd.

My first lap from standing was best but obviously slow. Then the second lap I got damage leaving 1 banzai run at the end. The Corvette hates the karousell, this time I overcooked the entry a little and luckily it popped me out the top rather than spinning me. That and a couple of overly cautious turns lost me around 2 seconds I'd say.

Oh and I just found out from Hardy that the race is on the 26th ...I totally thought it was tomorrow. Might want to update the Op Angel ;)

I just returned from Florida. Wow, that's unfortunate for myself. I personally never would of thought I would be disqualified after one of my greatest races. I let myself down again. What is it with me? It seems nothing goes right for me. Don't worry I'll be back for Mondays X2014 Jr. race.

You weren't disqualified, just demoted a position

Unfortunately, at this time I must withdraw from all current and future events that I am enlisted in excluding X2014 Jr. oval races. I just don't have time for long events right now. More so, time for practice necessary to be competitive.

NEW #N12H DRY POLE SITTER: #65 Phantom Racing Citröen of randy595 with 498.025 seconds

NEW #N12H DRY POLE SITTER: #65 Phantom Racing Citröen of randy595 with 498.025 seconds

Unless Google is playing tricks on me, isn't that 8:30?

Oh and did you look into Suzuka for me? Or if anyone has the replay can you confirm that I was there?

Here's how the seconds calculation was done:
8x60 (minutes to seconds)=480+18.025=498.025

On a more important note, following a lengthy appeal process and investigation, the disqualification of #96 and #89 at Le Mans have been overturned. However, the team will still not earn the points the drivers received for that race.

2015 NEWS: Following a long period of meetings by the General Assembly, the 2015 TEC calendar has been reduced to nine 24 Hour events, one per month from March to November. Teams may enter cars with one to four drivers in their cars. AUEC will also host a full IndyCar Series season, replacing the X2014 Junior NTC as the official open wheel championship for AUEC. The IndyCar Series season will be contested over 20 weekends.

2015 TEC Rules: Starting for next year, only one team may occupy a particular GTE car (ie: Scuderia Aguila is the sole possessor of the Corvette ZR1) For prototypes, all liveried/stealth cars are limited to one team while base models may have two teams.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that TEC layout for next year. I might need to think about it for a bit before committing. An indycar series on the other hand sounds great. On that note, has anyone got Forza 5? Indycars on Long Beach is amazing. With the livery editor too, it'd make for a great online series!

You'll have to talk to Selene about what your team is doing. I know she has the resources to do just about anything.
