After I run my bump day sessions could you send a request for Hardy to share it with me as well please? Mainly to soothe my ego, I'll be honest I'm quite a doubtful person. I'm not saying they're cheating explicitly, I just want to affirm their innocence. If I can do that, I apologize to Cherokee and IRG for making accusations which were false.

I can agree to that considering anything under a 40.290 is incredibly ridiculous on medium tires. Not trying to make any jabs or toot any horns but I find a tenth higher lap average to be quite a stretch with the current strength of field at the front.

To answer the obvious questions, 4 lap average is determined as such: (L1+L2+L3+L4)/4=Average time. As for the times set by the official polesitter, I'll leave those to Kuni as she has a better view than I do. I got the setup and ran actually a bit faster than pole time by a hundredth. It'll be ultimately up to Kuni and the PRB on whether or not to make it public knowledge. Like I said earlier, I hate giving them credit but they found something that worked.

I know Trial Mountain is a long way off but what is the stance on the Yellow Lines through Turns 8 & 9? Are we able to use these, as a limitation on these may be difficult to police in race conditions...

To respond on my own about Pole Qualifying, the times are legal and undisputable. It was also now public knowledge that the particular setup was disclosed outside of the team that created it, which is against the rules. Any further reproduction of that setup will result in those teams not racing at Indianapolis. If the setup is to be disclosed, I will be the one to disclose it, a fact that as of right now will not be happening because of the similarities to Solaris Racing Team's (Cherokee Motorsports official name) racing setup. Any further questions on it will not be answered until Wednesday at earliest on that matter. As for Trial Mountain, we are not focusing on that race until after the start of 2015.

Neither of which was the posted time in the original thread. So, its over for tonight I guess? I'll turn my PS3 off then if its over.
Yes. It's on at 4pm tomorrow and Tuesday.

I will most likely do my bump day run tomorrow after school. If not tomorrow, Tuesday. If I can't do that I guess I won't be racing at all.

To bring light to all of this, there was a very grave issue that has occurred. I'll refrain from elaborating but I was just made aware of it and now I am seriously questioning whether or not Angel will even want to show up at the moment. For those that were told by Hardy in the last 2 hours, do not say a word about it here unless she says it herself. Hardy will continue hosting Bump Qualifying all day tomorrow to make up for the hour today.

Do not even hint at it. I just want to pretend the pain isn't there. I've lost enough this year.

Due to the far more complex roster we have this year, Indy 500 Bump Qualifying rules will be changed effective immediately.
For those possibly unable to complete Bump Qualifying, you will keep with your Pole Qualifying time and the order will be determined by times only. Those that resort to this will still have to start the race on softs.
Those that participate in Bump Qualifying have three attempts at their disposal but cannot run attempts consecutively.

Softs? The Pole Day times were set on the Mediums, should it not be locked to the tyre you've run?

She's saying that because you didn't get Top 6 on Pole Qualifying, your time would be thrown in with Bump Qualifying. By default, you'd start on softs with the others 7-15

Ahhh, OK, misunderstood that one... Thanks Angel... 👍

Top 6 will change soft tires during the race. 7-15 will change medium tires during the race.
Benefits of being in Indy Fast 6: You get to choose what you start on.

Do 7-15 allow to change tires after the start of the race?
Of course. You have to run both compounds. To lock 7-15 onto medium tires would be unfair as softs are quicker.
