I just wanted to ask that.

close-up theme, where is wallbreakers entry!?:P haha, nice on mate:tup:

muhahaha :D

Almost forgot about it because I got my copy of DiRT 3 on monday :P It´s not sure yet whether my entry is actually final, it depends on the time I spend with my new baby

Surprised I didn't see much (if any) representation of this car, so I'm pleased to add it to the mix of some fantastic pictures this week.
With that, here's (unless I change it) my...

FINAL ENTRY
Title: If This Was My Company, I'd Put My Name Here Too!

Good luck to everyone!

Peace...

To be honest I always found it difficult to make good-looking close-ups on the Zonda.

I totally hear you, but are you saying it's bad?
(Trust me, it'd be far from the worst thing said to me in the past week, and I welcome any and all feedback - before or after the competition is closed, as long as it's not against any sort of rules.)

Truthfully, I'm not 100% thrilled with such a close-up on the bare carbon fiber, which is why I already knew I might change it. However, from the first time I noticed the name there, I just had to capture it's uniqueness and at least I have a competition this week where I can give it a go as an entry...

Actually I was referring to this

Surprised I didn't see much (if any) representation of this car

There are cars that are extraordinarily photogenic (such as the F40) and some cars that aren´t, and even the fact that they´re premium cars cannot hide that. And I would put the Zonda R into the latter category.

Your pic isn´t bad. The idea behind it is great. It´s unique in a way because I always try to capture the names of the car on the backside, which isn´t unique at all. It´s like finding the autograph of Jay Leno on the Tank Car (if there was one on it) and capturing it. :sly: But of course, it depends on the judges taste whether you get into poll with it.

Yeah, I totally agree that the Zonda R is not the "prettiest" of rides in the game, but it seems like it's so popular that I'm a bit shocked that it hasn't seen much/any representation in the competition - especially since it has some interesting details like a dashboard that also changes colors when the car's repainted, that's what I was getting at.

I do the same. Actually, an alternative entry possibility I have is the badge on the trunk (boot) lid of my favorite, tiny, little money-making powerhouse - the Suzuki Cervo. The detail is rather impressive, down to the depth and glass variances in the badge that deal with the (stock) transmission type.

At least this way I know I'm in the competition. I've got some other things I want to try and capture, so we'll just have to see what becomes of it all!

I get the sense that your picture was taken underwater. That alone somehow makes it for me.

Not sure how close you want the picture. I've posted this in the backfire section.

but thought would put it in here as well.

:Pthe preview is to big and the "final entry" text is missing.
Please read whats listed on page one!

also, I think it would be better to zoom in a bit more. Maybe closer to the exhaust. ;)
Funny, I wanted to post pretty much the same pic with the same car and angle. Just a bit closer

^ Yip... you are not allowed to crop, only re-size and rotate. Plus you need to link to full size.

^ What he/she said.

Preview has to be a maximum of 500x500 and you should link to a larger size of the picture.

and for FINAL ENTRY, make it bolded and red. :P

Also, try not to make more than the needed posts, you edit a post of yours by clicking the "Edit" button to the bottom right of your post.
