Well that is a shame... but i think we should require some sort of explanation rather than, "I'm out".

You are running in 5th place at the moment, and if any of the top 4 including myself drop out with a bad connection, it will most likely put you in the top 4.

Good race again at Matterhorn guys. Certainly was interesting. I got loose a few times, but i think quite a few of us did. I made a mistake with fuel, Again. Had to stop 4 times, Again. Lack of practice and poor judgement on my behalf. Didnt help that my back went out either.
All in all though, still a good race. Looking forward to Motegi.
Shame we're losing SlotRunner. Hope it's just personal Slot and not an issue with myself or any of the other drivers.

And well done XR6. You've kept Nicko out of 1st place for another round lol ;)

Oh boy..... yeah 1 hour after the original room opened, we got there!!!!
I suffered by not getting in any practise though, i was too busy trying to get the room going and managed half a lap i think lol.

Well done to everyone for sticking with it, not sure what was causing all the problems, weird...

There will only be a hot lap qualifier, 1st lap isnt valid so when you complete your 2nd lap , it better be a good one!!!
The timer will be set to 25mins for qualifying.

Umm.. you have the memory of the goldfish you put on your FB page ! You have beaten me this season at GV East ! Anyway, I wish someone had a screen grab of my grid start.. that's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen (well, apart from the shenanigans over who could see whom n track). As far as the race goes, I was spewing when Gastro hit start after I'd not long rejoined the track, battling over 2nd spot in the champ with him and Matt (who was in 2nd spot or so on the grid at the time), and had the 'eyes on' as I struggled to get by people on the way through (including the corvettes which were definitely improved Phil, and Cole was on fire!).
I call 2nd in these races "first placed human", so I was happy ! Looking forward to Sierra. I love that place !

Well it was a shame about the connection issues on Wed, but im just glad it was all sorted for the race. Except for XR6s interesting 'outside the box' car pos. It was a shame about the lack of qually. I think Nicko and I had only just gotten our second lap in before the race kicked off. So we went straight to the front. Not that it would've made a difference for Nicko. Still it didnt seem to phase you to much XR6. You may have lost a bit of time in traffic, but you certainly caught me in a hurry. Starting sideways and all lol.

Great performance by BP and SS. You had me worried and staring in the rearview mirror abit BP. You couldn't have cut it any closer on the fuel at the end either. A pretty consistant run and a good result, well done. SS for the first half of the race i thought you were going to get a podium. You had the 3rd fastest lap time and you had a decent lead in 3rd too. If it werent for a few little mistakes resulting in run offs, im sure you wouldve had 3rd. Great work. A great run by Cole also. You ran a pretty consistent race. I noticed too that you put alot of fuel in, if you hadn't of done the full stops each time, you may have had an even better result. Still though nice work. Good to see the Corvettes up there. And glad to see FG and SR made the race, regardless of result.

It was interesting too, to watch Nicko and XR6 put SH on the front and still go out and kill it. Straight off the bat. Credit to you guys, because they're very different cars with each set up.

Well i have to be honest, im not looking forward to Sierra. Great track, but i foresee a quite a few mistakes and trips through the grass or into the wall. It will be very interesting. Enjoy your weekends guys and see everyone at Sierra
 
Nothing new about the SHs on the front for me, Matt... I've been running them for a while now (at the suggestion of Gastro, the master tuner.... he's also into fishing I believe, as I heard someone call him a master baiter or something recently...). :eek:

The idea of getting Nicko onto SHs at the front is so that he's in the same postcode as the rest of us at the end ! :lol:

You'd be surprised, but the GTO is much better to drive with SH front and SM rear. Ultimately at Motegi it cost me around a second a lap compared to the SMs, but the car is consistent with the hards on the front (and the exact opposite with the mediums). Turn-in and braking suffer most, which is why I had such a hard time getting past a few cars (including your good self), and why I bumped you accidentally while trying hard not to... Fun and games ! :D
 
Wow, dont know how i missed that. It would explain why you were comfortable on them then lol. Yeah it may put him in the same postcode, but it would have to be in a different dimension or something.

Yeah not as surprised as you may think. As much as the Gallardo is a beast with its 4WD, its the same story. Ive been dealing with the terrible braking and awful turn in for awhile now, but it is worth it. Just sucks when people dive in under brakes and theres very little you can do. Still beats having to deal with random loss of traction though. Lol yeah dont worry about it man. I tried to let you past a couple of times and then you dipped a tyre off an i caught up again. It was awkward but i think we got through without losing too much time :)

Yes there is only one sierra track. It is 27kms long and should be about 9 minutes per lap. I would say we are doing 5 laps. If i get time this arvo i might do a practise race to test it out. If i see you guys online later i will send you a message to come try it out with me.
