That shot with the KTM is on the Red Bull Ring, previously known as the A1 Ring.

So I assume that that confirms both the KTM and the Red Bull Ring to be in the game.

Codemasters are trying to make me like Grid 2 to by involving Chris Harris in some way, but its not going to work - No cockpit no Buy.

Wow, what a bad direction Codemasters are going in. This is severely disappointing. Loved the first one to death. I'll still buy it though, although cockpit is removed, it was abysmal in the first place. In my opinion.

No race cars... I don't know how I feel about that. That's quite something to get rid of. But those BMWs look like great fun!

As far as I can work out, they still haven't confirmed if there will or won't be race cars. Just looks like everyone is pretty much still assuming things.

Man, Grid was one of my favorite PS3 games. Love all the real tracks, race cars, managing a race team and sponsors and the career, with the 24hr each year. Now it just seems like street cars racing around cities, like need for speed. But the problem is, we already have need for speed.
Oh well, guess they wanted to target a bigger market.

As far as I can work out, they still haven't confirmed if there will or won't be race cars. Just looks like everyone is pretty much still assuming things.

Usually game developers show what they have to hype fans. I never heard of a racing game not showing racing cars in trailers if they actually have them.

Things are two:
1- they don't have race cars which is kind of stupid in a game like this.
2- they don't want to show us their race cars yet, which is also kind of stupid, in a game like this.

Indeed, it's a racing game, people expect racing cars. It's not like everyone is going to go "OMG WOW, THEY HAVE RACING CARS. I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT!" and be all surprised if they announced racing cars a couple of months before release.

So, any word on PC versions being moddable? I'd only buy for PC if mod-capable, so that I can put my own race cars, tracks, and physics in. This no race cars thing looks wrong.


The other thing I noticed is that their Brands Hatch looks well done, and the McLaren physics don't look as bad as those idiotic muscle car physics videos they showed earlier "yeah, look at me slide my 500+ hp Corvette around, full-throttle, without spinning in circles."

Codemasters just posted a photo (Can't post it here, I'm on the app) of a Mclaren on their facebook.

And not just any Mclaren.. A MP4-12C GT3 ! I noticed the stickers on the door were from the presentation car wich clearly say 'MP4-12C GT3'

So.. wil that mean touring and GT cars in GRID2 ?

I'm not really bothered by the Mercedes SLR pack but I dont know what to choose from the remaining 3.

Brands Hatch variation + Mclaren , Indy variation + Indycar or Yas Marina variation + GT-R ummmm.. that sucks.

I'd bet Codemasters will eventually pull off another another Complete Edition bull****, as they did with DiRT3. But by then, the game is likely more or less abandoned.

Pre-order bonuses and now packs are far worse than DLC in general. Hate them, what a screwy way to say to players "We have all of this content but you can't have it all because, well, because **** you".

Wow. Seriously? It's beyond ridiculous. Is this the way you'd treat your most expensive game to date?

It's console manufacturer rules that any pre-order packs have to be made available as DLC further down the line.

So, basically, you might just as well wait another year till the Complete Edition. Remember, this is just preorder packs, bonuses or whatever you wanna' call them. They probably have atleast a few more up their sleeves.

Damn so that means in the UK no Yas Marina daytime..

I'll pre order it for the Mclarens and Brands layouts. Whats curious is 2 different layouts of Brands when only 2 exist in the real world, Indy and GP, so will be interested in what they have come up with .

Unless it just mean the 2 layouts .
