So it seems my cars have been restored to their previous handling. Weird. Maybe the handicap is based on XP you earn throughout the week, and it resets along with the rivalry board. I'm gonna rack up some more levels this week and test it out.
EDIT: Just leveled up from 20 to 23 last night. At the end of the session the cars started handling poorly again, but not as bad as previous. I'm starting to think they simulated chassis wear somehow. I bought a new car and it doesn't feel as bad. So confusing.
EDIT 2: Leveled up to 28 today. Physics pretty consistent throughout the whole time. If this doesn't happen again I'm thinking it may just be a weird rare glitch with my copy *shrugs*
EDIT 3: Just as I posted that and restarted the game, the cars started handling badly. This was after I had a 3 win streak though. Oddly I switched to Alternative (usually I only do Race) mode and they all return to normal. In conclusion I think as long as you don't keep a win streak in the same room the handicap won't come into effect.

Yeah, R32, STI.. I can't resist, is this $5 USD? OR 5$ Euros, $6.99 USD?
And all 4 cars will be interesting, the Honda would actually be a cool car for Time attack on tight technicals.

would love to add some cars if they aren't to expensive. too bad the Mclaren GT3 is a DLC tough

It could be... if it comes with that livery, then it could be a Tier 4 Zag.
If not then it has to be the GT3, there's no way you can make that livery in customisation.

Why is Grid 2 singleplayer intent on killing my PS3?
It's fine on multiplayer but trying to start a singleplayer race can end up with infinite loading screen and a whirry PlayStation. 
Note that this is happening for no other game. God knows what's so special about Grid.Good thing I completed every last bit of the career...

Is there actually a free car, because I didn't think there was. I won't be buying the DLC, but would love a free car.

It looks like the patch is entering the final testing stage at Sony (LINK), so it should be out fairly soon.
