Yes the R32 is faster than the R35, around MIAMI south point bay on this weeks global challenge the R35 is like 54s and the R32 is close to beating my Caterham time at 51s. The super mod cars have no upgrades, shame really only T3 cars.

Edit: beat Caterham time R32 50.987 good car nice balance:tup:

Caterham is that much better than R35? I thought R35 was the best T3 car. I have the Caterham but I haven't upgraded it yet because I'm only level 20.

How is the games performance?

It's alright for my tastes. Of course, you have your own; best thing I would suggest is to buy the game yourself and come up with your own opinions on the game.

The R35's not that bad, very quick acceleration but only okay on turns compared to some of the other cars. But from what I've seen and tried recently, the R32 Skyline from the Super Modified pack can outperform the SP300R, which is still a great T3 car when Upgraded, I think. So it seems that the R35 is definitely no longer the best T3 car.

When you press the flashback button it just jumps you backwards 50 odd meters on the track.

Okay I thought somehow it would freeze the whole game and go back a bit. Not sure why. I also heard there is only cosmetic damage online. Is that true as well?

I've had a puncture online before but don't ever recall wrecking my car. Don't take my word for it though, I've not played it for a while.

I have to agree with what m8h3r said. And adding onto that, if you use one early enough in a race (I'd say, 2-3 seconds), it'll stop you dead in your tracks as well.

And regarding cosmetic damage only in Playlists, that is true. If you go into a Custom Event and change the room settings, you can turn Full Damage on.

Now regarding a future patch for the game...I'd like to see other player's country flags, a la Gran Turismo 5 but next to their Impact Rating (now, I wonder how Codemasters are going to fit that in).

Just finished a Tier 1 race online and someone's car comes up indicated as a Nissan Fairlady Z. Note that this was a Tier 1 race and the only other Z is the 370Z Roadster in Tiers 2 & 3.

Hm...

Is anybody else having a problem with the loading screen freezing on the Vonzipper Eliminator in Season 2, or is it just my game? :scared:

There is no Fairlady Z is there?

EDIT:

Something interesting just happened Online.

I was using a Camaro Z28 in a 5-minute Liveroutes Endurance race, and ended up getting sent to the back of the pack a little bit early. Near the end of the 5 minutes, I ended up in 3rd. Eventually, the race ended with me and a Golf in a tie for first (we both travelled 14,318 metres iirc).

I thought this was really cool to tie with someone after coming back from last place.

Just remembered a weird experience I had a few weeks ago online. Playing a Tier 4 endurance race at Indianapolis, and I take the lead early. By the end of the race I am a good half a lap ahead of second place, and lapping people at the back of the field. But when the results are shown, I finished second.

I can't remember whether the tally on my screen matched that shown at the end of the race, but I was second by a large margin. Similarly I couldn't remember where the shown winner of the event was prior to the results screen appearing, but it was very strange. I don't play online for the stats, so the loss of the win wasn't annoying as much as it was sheer confusion. Just seemed like the server attached the wrong player to the distances travelled.

Something weird is happening to me right now.

Whenever I go to buy a new car, it says that I've bought it...except I can't do anything to it because I technically don't own the car, meaning I can't drive it either. This means I just wasted a lot of money on a vehicle that seems to be stolen away from me before I can even do anything to it. I call this CBS, or "Car Burglary Syndrome".

And I go back into the Vehicle Showroom and it turns out that the vehicle is still for sale, even after I've "purchased" it. I paid the money required for ownership of the car; why can't I do anything to it, only to realize it's still available for purchase?

This is a big problem for me right now and I might be the only one with it so far (not sure, however), so what do you think? Should I notify Codemasters about the problem? Worst thing that can happen is to delete the game and save data GRID 2. The game itself, I'm sure I can reinstall through the PlayStation Store.

On the high-end cars, you can only upgrade them at a certain level.

That's not my problem; all throughout yesterday, whenever I tried to customize the livery of a vehicle I had just bought, I got the following message:

You cannot apply upgrades to this vehicle as you do not own it.

And whenever I try to apply upgrades to it:

You cannot apply upgrades to this vehicle as you do not own it.

Then I go to the tier I bought the car from, and I can still buy it when I should not be able to.

I can still do everything I want to the vehicles I already owned up until that point. Other than that, THAT is my problem.

O... K... :odd:

Just to eliminate a possibility, do you definitely have enough to buy the car (both now if credits deducted and before)? Not saying this has happened, but I tried to buy a car on Gran Turismo and rushed through the various messages. Went to tune it, and no car. Wasn't in garage either, but still for sale. What I then realised was that I had read the value wrong and the skipped messages were warning me this rather than telling me I had a new paint etc. For instance, if you have £230,000 and try to buy a car worth £271,000 because you read £217,000...

If you still have enough money now, what happens if you try to buy the car again?

Alright, so I'm back at the bottom of the barrel.

I'm Level 7 now after about 90 minutes of online (I tend to climb to Level 30 very quickly).

EDIT: To make sure that whatever happened doesn't happen again, I'm probably going to buy the "Unlock All Cars" DLC.

Really shouldn't take that long. Keep racking up the podiums and you'll be there in no time.

The Zenvo is such as knucklehead's car, you can do anything with that thing and it's only second to the Veyron and Agera. I love it.

Thanks for the support!

And I couldn't care less if I finished a race in the top 3, or even won it. Just as long as I'm able to finish it. I will admit, having an average finishing position of 1st does make you feel pretty good.

I prefer the GT3 cars myself for racing. The Zenvo's a good car for T4 drifting, I find.

Heh, just had a Tier 1 race. An American joins literally at the last second and when we're on the grid he shows up in a Koenigsegg. He explained what happened over the mic and he really didn't sound like he was glitching or anything.
