The funny thing is, I remember playing the demo when it came out, and I thought the steering was horrible. But now I'm playing the full game, I think the steering is excellent.

Strange, I didn't notice a difference between the full game and the demo myself (DFGT). But then I only played the demo for around 20 minutes then bought the full game soon after.
Maybe you didn't bother tweaking the steering settings in the demo but have done so in the full game?

In general, I've never been impressed by any demo. I buy every racing game regardless and I'm always impressed with the game in spite of the lack luster experience that the demo provides. (NFS Shift being the only exception)

Each game usually has a different feel to it and takes getting used to. I jokingly tell my friends that they have to "train their brain" to adjust to a particular set of handling physics and that takes a bit of time as well as a nice cross section of cars and tracks (which the demos don't provide)

For what it's worth, I love the game ..... it's totally awesome and great fun. Online with friends can be a real laugh fest and great entertainment. I would prefer longer rally sections and fewer vehicle type options, but that's just me Bring back Pikes Peak !!

This 👍, they already have the cars for it pretty much, the Trailblazers are like unlimited class and rally cars are good enough, Pikes Peak would be a logical DLC pack to release I think.

About the game: How on earth did I miss this one, it's brilliant!

I finished it once, got the yellow light of death, then finished it again on my replacement PS3, got platinum & still not bored with it. I love the physics.

The stats do increase as you add the upgrades.

Also as regards buying the new cars, the most popular Rally cars are often the 350Z and Evo X, with plenty of new WRXs as well. That said the new WRX is actually quite slow due to understeer whereas the Evo X is very stable and easy to drive whilst not being to slow. The Z I'm not to familiar with but people seem to make it fast in ranked games at least. Other then that, the Escort is fast, fun, but difficult for some.

Trailblazer on the other hand, the Solstice is what I'd recommend as it is probably the best outside of the boring Dallenbach.

Good advice. I was generally just picking the car with the best rating on the screen, but as you said both the Evo X for rally and Solstice for trailblazer do seem to be better than Subarus. Thanks 👍

I'm sick to death of Jam Session hosts that think they are so important, seriously I've had more than one kick me because of a small collision going in to the first corner of a Rallycross race. It's fricken Rallycross what the heck do they expect! I can't help it if you wedge me between the barrier then continue to turn into me, of course I'm going to tap you.

I've had some kick me from Rally sessions because they spun out(without contact) trying to defend against me passing, even though I'm atleast 10 seconds up on them.

Came across a very odd cheater in an online race today, he kept jumping up positions as we raced, literally. One second he was behind me and the next he was 5 seconds in front, right behind the next guy, even though he never passed me. He pulled off the same trick to the guy infront of me too until he jumped his way to first place.

Another instance was in a trailblazer race, he flew off the track putting him miles behind everyone, definitely out of contention. I was about 7 seconds infront of everyone else when I finished, so I sat looking at the timing board with me on top, he's still racing, yet when he crosses the line he's a 100th of a second faster than me! How can this happen if we all set off at the same time and I finish before him???

There is one guy named ANINGA who is shown in the top 3 or so of most of the leaderboards. I have raced him several times and his on track behavior matches your description perfectly ..... multiple crashes and yet able to jump back in front of you at will. The Codemasters leaderboards are in reality, a joke. My personal best time at one track is not listed on the board and my communication with Codemasters was that "sometimes the times don't go all the way through our server" and so they're not recorded

I have given up on Time Trials consequently 💡

Definitely not lag, I was racing close behind him (no jerkiness at all, he had a good connection) until he made a mistake and fell off a cliff, so that put me way out in front, then all of a sudden he's gone faster than me. For sure it was a hack as another guy commented using the in-game chat about it when I did too. It made no sense how he could drop down the field so far yet still win, even after I crossed the line in clear first. I spectated him after the finish in the Trailblazer event!

OH MY GOD, I hate Jam Sessions so much. I entered one and it was clearly a bunch of American friends wanting some clean racing, before we even started the race one said they would watch me to see if I was clean, fine. I raced clean and they commentated on my driving the whole time until all of a sudden we had a small 3 car pile up at the front because of a mid-air collision, straight away they blamed it on me and decided to ram me constantly from there on. So near the end I was pissed off and full on T-Boned 2 of them, they went ape and kicked me before I had a chance to argue my cause. Complete bunch of JERKS!

As of 5 minutes ago I am at 97% with the trophies in Dirt 2!
I just need to get to level 30 online and then I'm in platinum city! I am only at level 16 just now thhough so it'll take ages

I recently aquired the game so if you want, add "GTP_RACECAR".

As far as DLC content goes,only thing I've seen is the "Trust Fund Pack" which allows you to unlock all the cars and liveries in the game and the "VIP pack" which unlocks all the events and tracks.
