If its 8pm or anything after that, I can do. Not much before that though.
dotJSPI will egg on the remaining people![]()
My 908 has 936 HP, and likely weighs less then the Hybride. I say limit the BHP (not the weight though) to like 750-800, just to make sure cars that max out around 850 (like the 787b) aren't outclassed by some of the 1,000+BHP monsters (Sauber C9 drivers know what I'm talking about)
HypedThe Hybride weighs less in game. We could also base the limits off of power/weight ratio.
That's also what I was thinking. If the number is lower, its better right? Or worse?
HypedIf you do the equation like this, T.P./V.W.=P/w ratio,(T.P.=Total Power,V.W.=Vehicle Weight) then you want a higher number, for the 1046HP Hybride, it would be 1046/900=1.162, meaning for every kilogram, there car produces 1.162 Horses. If you did it the opposite way, the lower number would be better.
The latter way is the way gt5 does it.
If you go into the tuning screen for any car, look at the box in the lower right with the power/torque bands. Click the 'Current Performance' tab and it shows all stats, including the power-weight ratio 👍I didn't even know GT5 measured it.![]()
MrMelancholy15Not interested in series: I just have a question...
Why is this in the Marketplace forum?
Because it has prizes.
locoman88How does rally racing and touring car acing sound?
AfrodeezyIf I had to chose between the two, I'd definitely say touring cars
i love gt5Aren't the GT500 cars those touringcars like the Nissan's?
No. I don't think so. They are the ones like castrol toms, raybrig, nomad diablos. Tc's are the subarus and stuff
locoman88Ill tell you what, everyone who can't make it, I will try and do a raffle. For 1 ticket and car or something ok?
dotJSPSounds like a good idea! Oh and btw when you posted 'What time is it over there?' it was around 00:30am
locoman88Hmm how about now?
dotJSP10:20am 👍
locoman88Oh yea. I don't think you will be able to make it.. sorry! But I will try to hold raffle!
locoman88No. I don't think so. They are the ones like castrol toms, raybrig, nomad diablos. Tc's are the subarus and stuff
MrMelancholy15DTM: Opel Astra/Calibra, Mercedes CLK/190E 2.5 16v, Vauxhall Astra/Calibra, or Audi TT/A4.
Comprised of FR/AWD cars with big aero packages, with around 480 hp.
JGTC/Super GT500: Castrol Tom's, Raybrigs, Pennzoil, Calsonic, Denso, Denso SARD, etc.,
Comprised of all FR cars with big aero packages and around 463 hp.
Note: The Nomad Diablo is too fast for GT500 competition in GT5.
BTCC: FF/FR cars with little aero, and about 300 hp.
All of the above fit into "Touring Car" class names. You'll have to be more specific.
As for the TCs in game: Do you mean "DLC TC" cars, like the Skyline R32 TC, Dodge Challenger SRT8 TC, or Mitsubishi Evo X TC? If so, then you'll have to specify that these cars are downloaded content ONLY, as people will not be able to compete without the DLC.
locoman88Alright where at?
AfrodeezyStill, Nordschleife
It makes more sense anyway to drive in cars used in a German racing series on a track in the heart of Germany👍
Edit- that's if we do DTM series
If Nordschleife is too long, maybe one of the GP tracks on the 'ring?
Or how about one of the original tracks? Cape Ring? Autumn Ring? Just some ideas
