Can you change any settings on the car? TCS? ABS? I’m used to running 1 and weak on gr.3 cars, so that would help. Not to mention the awful rear toe they serve you on all cars.

TCS and ABS are allowed and you can set them as you like.

Should mention that the Lewis's Lap replays also allow you to watch his braking, steering and throttle inputs via the 'Display Race Info' option. Very useful if you're not up to speed and want to see exactly what inputs he uses.

The reason you got 500 K from Silver is because its the combined prices from Bronze and silver 200 + 300 K

For a small percentage of players, yes, that's what they'll get for their money.

I have only tried two so far, dragon trail seaside and Monza. I finding DTS tough in this car, I’m just a couple tenths shy of a diamond time with lots of practice. Meanwhile I beat the diamond time at Monza in 3 laps, Lewis is so slow out of the chicanes.

I'm thinking it might be because I'm using a US account in the UK.

After a 3 hours session on one track, I´m at the point where I want to say that Willow is impossible.
I just need 60/1000 of a second but don´t really know where to get them. My best split times would be something right under 1.11,3 so theres almost no margin for me.
Because those 60/1000 are worth 100 Mio. Credits I´ll try this again the next days but think I need to study some replays first.

Not sure why that would matter. Your US account is connecting to the US store. Issue I could see with that is if your payment method/location doesn't match your account.

This is a great way to grab the unicorns at last.. I spent around 35 million on some sweet cars today already including the Cobra Daytona when it gave me the 20 million for all golds.. now I just need to get 9 more diamonds and I will buy all the cars I thought I would never get with the 100 mill payday This pay for challenge is worth every penny imo 👍

As you use a Fanatec wheel, have you noticed they've changed the FFB with this update? It was only when I was losing 0.5 secs per corner to Lewis at Nurburgring GP that I finally realised something was seriously wrong with the FFB and came here to look for info. The main thing you need to change is to increase FEI if you haven't already noticed all this and done that.

Disapointed to see the car rewards. After paying for the DLC i think the rewards should have been more unique, not vehicles we can easily win on the daily workout. Some of us will never gold it let alone diamond. I have more than enough AMG GT3s and Saubers as it is. Had i known exactly what the rewards were i honestly don't think i would have paid.

2. I don't have a need for expensive gr.x cars.
3. What is the point of the LH VGT Mercedes? I don't think that car has had much exposure in GTS. Only serves to as the 'look I'm faster than you' trophy.

Thanks for all the info here but I would like to hear more impressions of difficulty from players who have not been to most of the FIAGTC World Tours...


My benchmark for difficulty in Gran Turismo was the Alfa Romeo 8C lap at Eiger Nordwand in GT5. I beat that (on controller) by what felt like a fluke run - 1 out of about 500 attempts. I'm not sure I would have the patience to do that 10 times over.

(I'm not counting the X2010 challenge because that was biased towards wheel users and effectively impossible.)

Nurburgring Nordschleife was the easiest one imho. I did 5 sec better then the lewis in my first try.

Have to have TCS on at least 1 as it’s tricky to control inputs using the controller with the Merc. So far Monza is the closest I’ve got to even a gold. Have silvered them all apart from the final Nordschliefe...

I did all Diamond DS4 in about 90-ish minutes (including buying cars to maximise credits and some repeat laps for leaderboard vanity ) so I don't think controller/wheel is that important. Monza is by far the easiest because the understeer affects the laptime less there.
