Got your entry, and you are the final guaranteed grid spot for Event #1. All additional confirmations up to race night will be on reserve in order of which they confirmed. Welcome back, and glad to hear you have the PS5 wired in. Be sure to hook up with me or other drivers on the roster before race night to verify your network stability. If all is good, you'll be good to go for the series. Fingers crossed that it is so, and glad to have you back with us.Hey hey peoples, nice to be back 🤙
Confirming for Round 1 if you’ll have me

Heck yes - thanks mate!@MrDonovan
Look what I found it my livery collection
Just happened to have one rendered from the last go but thought it was for the widebody car only. Didnt realize i had one saved for the normal body version. Here it is if you want it.

I saw that. I will be on vacation the next week, but when I return, I plan to do some testing on the times of each car again to verify how much the difference makes. I have a feeling that the PP value and the fact that it is a total performance evaluation number should still allow the cars to fall very close to one another in pace. With that said, however, the higher hp values takes the cars out of the real world spec windows. After some testing when I get back, I will decide if and how much of a PP reduction will be necessary. I would expect the PP to be reduced to around 635-640pp max. I will announce once I decide.BMW and 650S just gained 50+ hp.
Be mindful to keep the weight as the specs require. The weight will not change throughout the season. To meet the final starting PP regulation hp, aero, and any other tuning can be manipulated to get to spec max PP. Pre-patch, our cap was 650.00 pp max. Expect to see the Max PP drop to around 635-640pp-ish to get the car specs closer to their real world counterparts....maybe even lower. Any and all lap times prior to the update will be irrelevant. The goal is to simply verify that all cars of this series still maintain decent parity out of the gate. I will verify some of my cars later when I get home to decide on a PP max value to set before I leave for vacation. So I checked it out briefly last night and this is what I found for the McLaren. Also, these numbers are approximate and off the top of my head.
Pre patch PP was around 649.9 post patch it was about 647.6. Best lap time pre patch was mid 1.53s, but consistently low to flat 1.54.
Post patch to get the PP back close to 650 I gained about 4-5hp but lost 30 pounds. Also added a minimal amount of downforce. I Didn't do a lot of laps, but I could consistently run in the high 1.53s. I'm sure I could find a few more tenths in there.
I probably wont be on tonight, but I will test more and send setup screenshots over the weekend...
Also, going high, outside the race line or hitting ANY type of debris remains on the tires longer, gives you more wear and less traction for a longer period of time than before. One of the things I've noticed most about the change as a pad user is tire wear. Any type of scrubbing or sliding produces red wear. On average I'm seeing red by the end of lap 2. I'm going to try a full 30 min stint and see what they look like after it.
Oh yeah for sure. Wont be able to add more weight as I had the ballast maxed out to 200 (no weight reduction) and almost no aero to get under 650PP. Still WELL over the weight minimum. No space to add weight, but could lower the power restrictor to get down to that rangeBe mindful to keep the weight as the specs require. The weight will not change throughout the season. The McLaren should be 3203lbs. I had the car woth no weight reduction, and only had to add 123kg add.Oh yeah for sure. Nice job!Did some driving at the Glen today in Time Trial mode and managed a 1:52.9xx after quite a few laps. So that’s about as fast as I’m going to get.
Thanks for the intel Iforce. I'll need to jump in and update the downforce maximums for each car when I get back from vacation on the 12th. Good catch.👍After noticing something odd with one of my setups I discovered my Supra lost 20 pts of front down force. i just checked the rest of the car and my car is not alone.
AMG -20 front
Vantage -20 front
M4 -20 front
Mustang -20 front
650S -20 front
Z -10 front
Cayman +20 rear
Supra -20 front
I'm running mid 54's now at the Glen but I need to work on the understeer now.
Just ran a 52.6 in the Cayman
I want to remind all drivers: the weights shown for each car in the build/tuning section of the 1st post are static weights for each car. Please set your car to that weight and do not change. Aero, suspension, trans, and hp can be moved around to maximize performance and to get the car tuned to the 640.00pp max. Be sure the aero specs do not exceed the maximums noted. (These will be updated when I get home since some have chnaged since the update.) Weight should be set to your chosen car's spec, and not be changed. Here is a screenshot from before and after the update.
After update I am down 26hp, down 16 ft-lb of torque, and added 31lbs.
Did someones McLaren gain 50hp?
At Watkins previously my fastest lap was 1:53.2, now best is 1:54.3 (consistently high .54s) I didn't get a lot of laps in, and I still need to get the handling back how I like it so I'm sure those numbers can come down a bit. I was judging MPH at a certain point on the back straight, and it looks like I'm down about 7-9 mph on the back straight before braking for the chicane. I think this is where I'm losing time since the car still feels fast and stable through the twisty stuff.
edit: Off the top of my head, I think my front downforce went from 108 to 82 ish...
Oh, okay....I thought the weight was a minimum.I want to remind all drivers: the weights shown for each car in the build/tuning section of the 1st post are static weights for each car. Weight should be set to your chosen car's spec, and not be changed.
We are ready check this last lap battleAnnouncement
With the new 1.31 update and physics change that came with it, we will cap the starting max PP regulation to 640.00pp. Weight must remain at series spec, and aero must not exceed allowable maximums. Hp and aero can be manipulated however necessary to reach, but not exceed 640.00pp. Some have stated that there has been a significant increase for some cars in regards to hp. Let it be know its at the sacrifice of front downforce. With the little bit of laps I did, I ran lower downforce front and hi rear, and was able to get some strong hp numbers...good for the straights, sucks in corners and braking. The car was not balanced and was awful to drive. Then I used a balanced aero setup and a realistic/fair hp number, and the car felt great to drive in all sections of the track. Both yielded similar lap times.
640.00pp will be our official starting PP regulation. Please adjust your cars accordingly.
I would ask, that anyone running laps, to please forward lap times. I was able to get my Camaro back into the 1:52's. This was same weight, less hp and little more aero. You all should be close to what you ran pre-update at 650.00pp.
