I think the newest off road video is the best proof that it's not the full version in that the cars don't get dirty. Dirt would not be something that would have to be unlocked and is prominently shown in Gamespot's advertising for the game.
For the record I checked both the video and Gamespot's page for disclaimers about it being beta footage, it doesn't exist, those dirt effects are final or PD's lawyers surely would have themselves covered before releasing footage.

But remember they delayed the game instead of opening a update to it. That tells me to much information was added to the reprint of the game. If it's in fact the previous print, than I am hugely anticipating more things in the new"er" GT5. They wouldn't delay a games print for something easily to patch. But many missing features, that's a different story. But of course, it could have been delayed because of timing for the launch and no updating what's on disk at all.

I didn´t thought of the fact that the Ford Rally car didn´t get any dirt on it like cohetedor says. I mean, did we not se the video of the McLaren getting dirty? Dirty cars was something that was suppose to be included in the game. I highly doubt that it is an off-on option, does not make sense. I´m starting to believe that the "stolen" GT5 was not stolen at all. That Miata video could be older than we think... Who knows... And lets think about it, could someone really steal a game before its release? It can be done, but a company like Sony loosing control of their distributors?

come on. RDK's and tekken's had a game case, a game manual, a printed bluray disc, a 10 GB install, trophies, intro and ending movie, etc.
how can a demo have a complete tuning shop, complete paint shop, 1031 cars, 27 tracks, etc. and call it a demo? seriously? a demo is something that only has 1 track and 8 cars. get over it. it is the final game.

i didnt say he said it was a demo. it was people who are assuming, wishing, pleading that tekken's and RDK's copies are "stolen". yeah right. they got it after news came that Kazunori was saying the discs are being stamped. they got it after half a million units were shipped to France. they got it less than 2 weeks before release. sureeee...those copies are neutered, broken, stolen, not the full game. oh please.

NO, thats not a realistic theory, I already discussed it and dismissed it in another thread, the probability for this kind of mistake to happen is too low...several people would have been responsible for this at several levels of the Quality Control processes, which is really almost impossible to happen...
