Actually with all this "is it the full correct version" arguments going on, I feel exactly like you do...though I fear I'm being naive and lining myself up for dissapointment next week!

NO, thats not a realistic theory, I already discussed it and dismissed it in another thread, the probability for this kind of mistake to happen is too low...several people would have been responsible for this at several levels of the Quality Control processes, which is really almost impossible to happen...

Shaun White Skateboarding won’t be making its October 24, 2010 release date on the PlayStation 3. Its release will be pushed back for a few days after an error was made in the disc’s manufacturing process. The Xbox 360 and Wii versions of Shaun White Skateboarding will be released as planned.

All PS3 discs that were shipped to retailers are being returned to Sony. Sony says there was an error stemming from a misprinted disc during its manufacturing phase. The wrong version of Shaun White Skateboarding ended up going to stores as a result of this. The correct version of the game will arrive at retailers on October 28 and will be available to the pubic next weekend.

You are, you shouldn't expect the version you wished and dreamed about. Features are lacking, but it doesn't really stop this game from being the base of the final build. No matter how many ways people try to explain these events, it won't result in the game they want. GT5 is what it looks like, to expect a major change from the versions we've seen is nothing more then wishful thinking. The game we will get will pretty much be the same version was tekken90 and RDK have shown us. Somethings may be different, but to go out of one's way to explain missing "features/objects" is just setting one's self up for disappointment.

Exactly. As we've already witnessed several times, no matter what kind of videos/images are posted, someone always finds something to whine about or dismisses everything as fake. Even if someone posted a certificate signed by Jesus, Muhammed and Richard Dawkins that said that this is the Holy Retail Copy, someone would cry out "what about Buddha? why isn't buddha mentioned? clearly a fake!"

So until we get the final game in our hands, reading this forum is some kind of form of masochism.. as most forums are anyway.

Oh yeah and even when people finally get to try the final game for themselves, some are disappointed because the game doesn't wipe their asses and blow their noses, even though "kaz mentioned the word "ass" and "nose" in some interview, i'm sure of it!"

In the leaks were missing really a lot of things like nascar championship, WRC championship, kart championship, kart tracks, damage, probably the wind tunnel and a few things more...

they're not missing. it's that karts, nascar, etc. were not shown. they didn't show 3D, does that mean GT5 doesnt have 3D?

Well well well. what a fine mess everyone is getting into over some videos. (myself included)

I personely think we are all getting hysterical over nothing. Every possible mistake, correction, included data, excluded data, mud, dust, and wheel nuts can be changed by PD through DLC.

It is already confirmed 100% that there will be DLC... If they had to rush the game in any way to release it, i'm sure they will release a patch on day one of the release. consider this.. everything gets patched nowadays.

Kaz wants this to be the best experience for us more than anyone.. I dont think he will let us down regarding wheel selection and dirt. but i could be wrong.

And on the 3 leaked copies note, I personally know marketing is a dark game to play nowadays anything is possible!

In 7 days I for one am going to thouroghly enjoy the game i have been waiting 5 years for. I'm 99% certain we will enjoy some bloody good DLc too.

In my opinion, for what concerns the hood cam, it will depend on the cars. New cars, and cars ported from GT5P and GT4 will have the hood cam. Cars ported from GT PSP will have the (ugly) roof cam. And, in this case, they can stay at the dealer IMHO.

About the downturn in the game performance, it could either be because the version that leaked was an old one, which went mistakenly gold, or because the performance has been intentionally dimed because they had gone beyond the ps3 capabilities. In both cases (I certainly do prefer the first scenario, but the second one is more realistic), that should be the reason for the last delay of november 3rd.

(Amar212) the legendary gtplanet guy who revealed a lot of new GT5 features before anyone else in our planet, is having his hands-on in those moments on the final build of GT5 (look at the toy car in the picture) !!!

So finally we will get our confirmation if yes or not the leaked copies were the final builds of the game !!! I am sure they werent !!!...We are waiting Amar !!! what a historical moment for GT fans !!! the greatest Racing game ever created will be revealed !
