Aren't EURO covers, gray?
No. Like i said over there: one game 2 covers are the same and one with this one grey.

They removed sparks didn't they? What reason could there possibly be for that? They even showed them off in a trailer.
I completely forgot that sparks were even suppose to be in the game. I don't recall seeing any from the videos upload in the last week.
I'm just confused TBH looking at the error RDK is getting, simply does not make sense to me. Were it an online issue it would say "connect to PSN" however the error RDK gets implies that what he chose is not actually in the game. I'm not saying that if this is not the final version then the final one will have 400 tracks and awesome damage but something is just weird.

No one is setting their hopes high. There is a lot of evidence that shows that the leaked copies might not be the full game.

EU/AU collector's edition.
Yeah...day 1 update...to unlock that thing for museum and online. And hope something to set G25 and G27...Prologue when it came out had no online then an udate came out on the 24th December which added the online system.
There were then two further updates, Spec 2 and Spec 3.
GT5 might have an automatic update on day 1, many games do, for example Black Ops.
Or there may be no update. We'll find out shortly![]()
btw can someone confirm what the error message is that we get on GT5p now when trying to gain access to GTtv?
So if there will be a day one patch like some of y'all are saying, then that still means, in essence, that the leaked version isn't the final copy because there is content missing. When we fire it up, all those things that you guys are talking about that seem to be missing (scratches, better damage & rollovers, etc.) will be there for us, along with those leaked versions as well.

I believe in Tekken's long thread he mentions that he was required to update to v3.05?
Anyway i believe Tekken's copy is an old build. wishful thinking? who knows..

Unless you don't have broadband... in which case... it is the final copy.
And if these videos were a part of some carefully executed marketing ploy like a previous poster said they would have done it to make the game look amazing, not turn people away from it.
Bad translation it was the same message for the GT5 demo when you tried to click on icons excpept arcade and trial. Try again, its not the final version.

ok if these guys in fact do have the review copies, why would PD send a worse product than they have actually made to the people that are going to make the biggest impact on the game. It just doesn't add up.
If it's not the final version then these guys must have taken it from PD directly. Why would Sony print millions of copies of an old code.
But then again, they did post the retail boxes so it can't be taken from PD.. It's a big riddle lol I guess we'll find out next tuesday
Even if this is not the final version, I think we've seen 99% of the final game. There's no way standard cars are going to magically turn into premiums, there is no way we're gonna have more tracks, there is no way the license tests and stuff are going to change. I think when it comes to content we have seen it all.
Like someone else said it could be the case than defective copies were leaked, also I don't think than things like tracks or cars change but some others like visual effects and some features could change
Defective? impossible, if the disc was defective it just wouldn't work not work with missing features lol and i doubt Sony would make a such an expensive mistake. (to print the wrong code)
But instead they added some more assists which makes it more accessible for everyone. You don't necessarily need two separate physics to do that.
Edit: And imo there is something really strange about the build Tekken has.. For example why remove sparks? They had them in and they took them out. Sparks can't break the game so why would they decide to take them out?
