It is but its just real footage (Possibly from one of their testing videos earlier in the year). It competes in an FIA Santioned series so of course it would show up.

It is indeed the Toyota TS040-HYBRID 2014. I almost fainted upon seeing but quickly clicked it is real. Toyota Hybrid test at Aragon prior to the WEC Prologue at Paul Ricard HTTT.

@RACECAR It is not the car you posted. The video features the 2014 model not the 2015 you said. In the video the car is #7, has red Total panels on the wing uprights and shows the high downforce configuration front-end. 2015 cars are #1 and #2, have blue Mobil1 panels on the wing and does not feature such an upright front.

Is there any more images from this?

That is not in game footage, so car is not confirmed...
I think it has a better chance of being included compared to the vehicles seen in the vintage racing footage considering the whole FIA partnership and everything. But you are correct, it has not been confirmed.

The FIA partnership with Polyphony Digital was effective when they told them to remove the "WEC" logo on the TS030 so...
Whatever, that is not in game footage. The intro shows us 100 years of racing from the beginning to nowadays. The TS040 is just here to "close the loop".

I think we can safely assume the Toyota S-FR '15 and the Nissan Concept 2020 in its current form are showing up in GTS.

Assuming that PD will focus on quality over quantity this time around, the cars that feature in the final game may be decided depending on how far they are upgraded to next gen standard. Even the premium cars from GT6 will need work to bring them up to the necessary quality. Especially where the engine sounds are concerned.

I have no doubt that GTS will offer a wide range of cars for us to enjoy. Whether the quality of the car models will be kept consistent or not is something only time will tell.
