///M325i thought he had done enough to get into the team with the points he had and didn't realise that he'd be not included in the team if he didn't do the last 3 races.

I know him personally, and he's a damn fine racer and would be a valuable asset to the team. Just look at his result in the Nine Boards Challenge. 2nd in the last race and only 1 second behind the winner He'll put the time and effort in as required.

??? If you wanna play by the rules then the following members should also be dropped from the team as they all missed at least one qualification race or more!

Errr hello, are you saying I just wasted many many hours for nothing, the reason i didn't do the last three is because for one thing there was only 4 or 5 people taking part and the second is every other day for results is a little to time consuming.
I had other things to do like working and going out.
I would like to thank all you guys for a good few races, and thanks Talentless and GVX for sticking up for me.
Pako one rule for one and one for others, don’t you think you are taking this thing a little to seriously?

i just want to say that it all seems like crossed wires to me , yes granted m325i is a class racer and definetly deserves to be in this team , but if he had communicated with pako and told him his thoughts on team strategy and qualification then i dont think we'd be having this debate , as put before by pako if you get in touch with pako it will be sorted as in rectified , its all cool in the end up , but dont blame pako , he put the rules down and followed them the best he could , hope this is all sorted now and we can start practicing for races again , hope you still want to take part m325i and dont take it personally its just crossed wires like i said before . cya's in race mode lol

I can understand how real life obligations and situations can come up. And believe me, I know what it is like to busy, stressed, not enough time in the day to wipe my own arse! I understand and can sympasize with you. Did I know you were too busy to submit times? How would I have know that?

I'm also too busy to be checking up on everyone that hasn't turned in a time. I have to rely on each racer to have open communication with me or it's just too much to handle. This topic is one of the main points of focus for the Qualification series. Talenless, Magic069, and Jayjitsu all expressed either on the board or though PM's or emails, why they didn't submit a time. I had heard nothing from you until now.

I think that we have all learned some pretty valuable information that will help us during B vs. B challenges. Communication being top on the list!

The other members have expressed their desire to have you on the team, I totally agree. You would be a asset to TeamGTPlanet.

I have a question for you:

What about the other disqualified racers that failed to submit times with no explanation? Do we let thoses racers in as well? Originally, we had hoped for 10 primary racers and 10 backup racers . . . . .well you saw the turnout for the challenge.

Here's an idea, would you be interested in participating in a small 3-Race Re-Qualification series, that would open the doors for additional racers who have expressed interest in the Team, but heard about it too late, or like yourself, was just too busy at the time to complete all the races?

This would give a second chance for anyone to join the team. We are still short of having 10 racers and I would like to have atleast 2-3 standby racers. What are your thoughts on this?

I think that's a great idea, and I would definitely participate. I didn't submit times because I was interstate on holiday, but a small series like that is a great idea - might uncover some hidden talent, plus the demands aren't as heavy.

Your confused because of. . . .the above statement? Confused about the rules which I have been extreemly flexible with? Confused at the opertunity to race three more races?

I'm trying to bend backwards here and am running out of ideas. I thought I painted a pretty clear picture as to why I did what I did. Perhaps I was in error? its what the team is all about anyway ! isn't it ? just do the 3 races and your right !

Looks like we lost ///M325i because he doesn't wanna race a further 3 qualifying races to prove he's a good racer. We all know he's more than capable as expressed previously in other posts.

Pako it sounds like at least 2 members would be interested in competing in a 3 race mini series and maybe we could drum up some more interest within the Forum.

I can't see any reason why not ZC85 couldn't shadow race any event held by GTPlanet providing he posted screen shots when required and gave a break down of splits etc...

Has there been any indication of when the next 9 Boards challenge is likely to be or perhaps we could look at running a GTP vs another board mini challenge at some point.

Lastly I think open dialogue between members is essential in building a strong and reliable team, but as we are in big need of quality racers we shouldn't be dropping members from the team on such trivial matters. Yes there were rules but looking back it took alot of time and effort to submit 10 races in 20 days. That's probably why so many people dropped out and only 3 members did the full 10 races! Let's try and encourage members to join the team and not scare em away with rules "quoting" and public shaming.

i did the last challenge and i thought i was in. i did all the races and finished 2nd i think. at the time my ps2 was broken and i went to my friends house to run a few laps once a week to do the races. i didnt post anything but the times and really didnt look at the boards in the meantime. my fault i guess, but i was interested being on the team.

i guess you might not need people as much as you say.
