Hi all, well once again, i'm probably going to not make it home in time for this . . . weekend just gone would have been ideal! But such is life ... I'm racing in Coffs Harbour (about a 5.5hr drive) from my place and racing probably won't finish up til around 5pm on the Sunday . . . so . . . i'll just surrender my spot to someone else . . . which is a shame as I really like Brands Hatch and i've got my internet sorted at last! Oh well . . . such is life I guess . . . Best of luck to my teammate Killing Heidi, go get em mate! - sorry once again i've left you by yourself . . . good luck to all the rest of the guys and I look forward to watch the races on Core TV!

Just my opinion on the creation of a separate club for the V8SC races: I find it an inconvenience as now I'll have to have two slots taken up for the same organization. For those who participate in multiple championships these slots need to be kept clear for other sanctioning bodies. It's a good idea to have these races held in a club lobby so people can join without having to add the race host but at the same time I feel it'd be better off just being ran in the universal CORE club rather than it's own.

The car specs have now been finalised following extensive testing on a wide range of tracks. These specs will remain this way for the remainder of the season.

Community Club

Following the points raised earlier in the forum, the decision was made to the shift the running of race nights from the 'CORE Australian V8 Supercars Series' club to the 'CORE Online Racing Official' club. For those who have not joined this club, Please do so before this Sunday night in order to race. The club is public so no invite is needed. The Club ID is: 1004600

It will be:

Starting Weather: 0%
Surface Water: 10%

EDIT: I'll have a room setup in the club lobby of the 'CORE Online Racing official' community club tonight for anyone wanting to practice. It will be a good opportunity for everyone to be organised and join the club before Sunday night as well as getting some laps!

i want to join! its round 4 though so i missed the first 3 races. I just submitted my desire to run in this series to CORE. If i am understanding correct i can still use a BMW. I didnt enter any team name or class because i have no team and i dont know what is meant by class.
I am totally new to this and don't even know when the next round starts. I would like to know so i can hurry up and tune the BMW and practice.

Hey @addylizard it definitely isn't too late to join in.

To answer your questions:

Yes the BMW is still available. I will put you down as racing the BMW.

The class option you don't need to worry about for this series as there is only one class. That option is made available for other series like the CORE WEC.

As for the team name. If you are not already aligned with a team then you are more than welcome to create your own team name that you can run under.

As for the next round. It is tonight at Brands Hatch GP circuit. The room will be open at around 6:30pm Adelaide Time with all cars to be on track at 7:20pm and the Qualifying session starting at 7:30pm.

If you havent already, please go back a page and check out the drivers briefing to find out about any information that is critical to the night, the addendum on this page which has some updated info and also check out the CORE rules and regualtions which are linked in the 1st post on page 1.
