Well it was a bit of a disappointing turnout, but obviously a few guys had some good reasons as to why they couldn't make it. Hopefully we can get a better field next week at Silverstone.

Good racing with the guys who did turn up and a shoutout to @SAI SANTOSH on his performances tonight. I'm sure a race win isn't too far away.

Obviously we need incident report in within 48 hours. It is going to be a busy week for the CORE team with Silverstone only 7 days away. We would like to get the stewarding done and results posted as soon as possible.

Drivers briefing for Silverstone will be posted shortly. I'm off to watch the Grand Prix.

Great Racing guys. Well done ITZ, great Win for you and AU.
@SAI SANTOSH, you were FAST man, great racing.
Memto, i must say, the first lap of race 3, there was some mass fish tailing man lol. Bad luck.
Good racing everyone.
Cheers.

EDIT: Incident Report Done.

There are just few things to go through this week.

Pit Entry / Exits

For the pit entry there is a grassed area separating the pit entry and the race track, this serves as a commitment zone so avoid driving across that grassed area to access the pits as a penalty will apply. On the exit of the pits there is a white line extending pass the pit exit, please avoid crossing to the left hand side of the white line when leaving pit lane.

Corner Cutting

This circuit has a lot of bitumen run offs along with some other escape roads that allow drivers to gain an advantage if they are used. This will be closely monitored and penalties handed out to those who are gaining an advantage from cutting corners.

Weather Report

The starting weather for the beginning of Qualifying and Race 1 will be as follows:

Starting Weather: 100%
Surface Water: 0%

Make sure you bring the snorkels and the flippers ;)

Official Practice Sessions

From this round onwards we will be hosting a couple of official practice sessions. This will allow drivers to get some practice driving around each other and hopefully improve the quality of racing. For those in Australia / Asia, I will be hosting a practice session on Wednesday at 7pm ACST. There will be a session setup for the drivers in the UK as well hosted by @memto89. I strongly encourage all drivers to try and join as many of these sessions as possible to ensure you get the necessary practice for next week.

I am gonna miss this race but I should be back for the Grand Valley race.

First of all,it was a great weekend.Though the contestants were bit small in number, everyone has shown up a clean class racing.Glad that there weren't any crashes or mistakes.Well the report isn't much elaborate. @ItzRacing well done mate. I guess on the lap 6 or 7 of the 2nd race,I was tailing @Killing Heidi .....I guess it was turn 3 where he had lost the control of his car and spun ,I braked hard to avoid the contact...despite,there was a small knock on his rear fortunately leaving the cars un-damaged.
Race 3 I guess it was the 2nd lap, while exiting the Paddock Hill Bend @memto89 knocked my rear, well I guess it's not that big thing to get considered, that's for all. Thanks for being part of such gr8 weekend guys...:)

It's unfortunate but I will be pulling out of this series, the series is very well ran but with the car I can't get to grips with it, the understeer is stupid, nothing against CORE. Thanks for letting me race and will see you on the track in the future.

Do you race with a controller or wheel?

Before you give up it might be worth asking for help, when I first drove the Lexus I had the same issue, but now it's one of the best handling cars on the grid... I can send you the setup to try... I don't think it's worth giving up though

I asked my team for help, which they did, but no matter what I did it kept understeering, I don't think the team will change car so I've had to withdraw from the team also, I may be willing to give it a chance if I can change car and be a solo driver.

I'm on controller
Okay is your sensitivity setting at +7? I'm pretty sure that's the highest it can go, set it there. I race on a controller myself and I found that having a bit of initial torque may help the car rotate. Try adding some initial torque and add negative toe angle to the front wheels.

If that doesn't help then try a lower front ride height while keeping the back end up and adjusting the brake bias to have more sensitivity to the rear wheels under braking.

@scotty8646 , I definitely wouldnt give up just yet. There are plenty of people here to help you get your head around things if you need some help. There will be a few official practice sessions before next Sunday so if you are free jump on and join us in a room and either Memto, Whitetail or Myself will be in a room and willing to talk to you and give you advice on what to do to help improve the car along with a few others. The lexus is definitely a hard car to get the balance correct with, so there is no shame in asking for a little help as we have been constantly tuning all of the cars to make sure everything is level with the specs in the last month or 2.

If you are still not happy with Lexus you are more than welcome to switch to the Camaro. It is an excellent car and I'm actually surprised that it wasn't really chosen by anyone as I thought it was a lot better than the Mercedes at least. If you choose to go down that path let us know and I'm sure @Whitetail, being a controller user, will be able to help you with a setup for the Camaro to help get you up and running.

Yes Scott....itz is right

Well, ran few trial runs couple of hours ago, times were average.Well were anyone on the track, testing the cars.....if yes, what were your times...:boggled:

I did about 5-10 laps in each car on Tuesday last week. My best time in the Ford was a 2:03.5, but that was in the dry.

Judging by how the cards were drawn for the weather this week though, I highly doubt we will have much dry weather racing on Sunday. So obviously the times will be a lot slower.

Well itz...as the weather seems to be set at 100%..and track's surface water at 0%....like are the drivers going to face wet weather conditions or vice versa....?

My best assumption is that once the qualifying and race 1 starts the surface water will start building up. So I will say it will be wet for a good majority of the night. Also on GT6 once wet weather sets in, it usually sticks around for a while. So I will say it will be most likely wet weather for majority of the night.

It will be interesting to see who does what with tyres in Qualifying and Race 1...

Terrified of the rain, but Silverstone is, historically, the only track I am good at, so...
