Glad you could join us this week. In the future, please try to be in the room at least 30 minutes before racing is scheduled to begin though, just so we can have everything organised a bit better and no one is waiting around :)

Other than that you did well for your first Australian V8 Race with very little practice time.

That's understandable, luckily my mother was on the other side of the country! :P

I did think that mothers day might have been slightly why we were down on numbers a little bit, so obviously that will be considered for the future.

First of all,it was a great weekend.Though the contestants were bit small in number,everyone has shown up a clean class racing.Glad that there weren't any crashes or mistakes.Well the report isn't much elaborate. @ItzRacing well done mate. I guess on the lap 6 or 7 of the 2nd race,I was tailing @Killing Heidi .....I guess it was turn 3 where he had lost the control of his car and spun ,I braked hard to avoid the contact...despite,there was a small knock on his rear fortunately leaving the cars un-damaged.
Race 3 I guess it was the 2nd lap,while exiting the Paddock Hill Bend @memto89 knocked my rear,well I guess it's not that big thing to get considered,that's for all.Thanks for being part of such gr8 weekend guys...:)

For this round we will accept this as your incident report, but from this point on you will receive a penalty if you do not submit an incident report through the link provided by ITZ. Please next time submit through the proper channels, this does go for everyone

No, you do not have to register for each round individually at CORE.
All you need to do is fill in the Attendance Sheet. Which is a simple copy and paste into your post in this Thread.
ITZ has not yet updated the Thread Title to Round 5.
Regardless, this Thread covers all rounds for this Series only.

Yes you are in the right place.

Once you register on the CORE website you are registered for the entire series, but we would like you to fill in the attendance sheet if you plan on racing this week.

We decided against setting a club event up mainly because we will be running all the rounds in the Club lobby, which allows us to make weather, time and format changes between races. If we ran the races in a club event we would be stuck doing qualifying sessions before every single race, which is something that really frustrates me in the real world V8 series. Lol

Also, I'm about to set up the official practice room now in the CORE Online racing club lobby. Anyone is welcome to join in and do laps, have a chat, compare times and help each other out with setup and driving tips :) I will warn you that I may be inactive for about 10-30 minutes while I have a shower but So if I don't respond don't stress, I will talk to everyone when I return.

As you know already after testing, its pretty clear the Merc sucks balls at this track in the wet :D
Im going to look like the Class clown this weekend on #CORETV !!! LOL.
Anyways, i have never ever missed a race, so...

Race Results - CORE Australian V8Supercars Round 4 - Brands Hatch GP

Stewards report
Stewards: Memto89, Jonnyb1990, ITZracing, Glenalz81

Race 1

Lap 1 - Addylizard - Bencrow - Racing incident
Verdict: NFA
Both cars are side by side and addy holds the line through the inside. bencrow tries to hang around the outside and slightly loses the rear spinning him into addy and off into the gravel.

Race 2

Lap 1 - Addylizard - memto89 - Avodible contact
Verdict: +90 secs penalty (Addylizard)
Addylizard attempted to out brake memto89 and dive past him into final corner but was unable to successfully do so. As a result Addylizard missed the apex and ran into the side of Memto89, forcing him into the gravel trap, losing a couple of positions along with a chunk of time. As this was his first race only a +90 second penalty applies, but in the future an incident like this will see a Driving Standards Warning handed out.

Lap 2 - Addylizard - memto89 – Racing Incident
Verdict: NFA
It was determined that Addylizard was not in full control of his car in this incident so it is a racing incident and no penalty will be issued.

Well looking at the characteristics of c63,its just a modified,high tech merc 190E.They all follow the same philosophy....;)

At the end of the day,it may sound bit foolish drawing differences BTW 190E and c63,sometimes I'm out of my mind.To b honest,these two cars are the Merc's best road cars....
 
I have to apologise in advance, I'm not going to be home by 8, there is a fatal crash just up the road from me and I've been stuck in the traffic for 2 hours so far with no sign of moving

Edit: going to have to cancel the session as I'm no where near home

Does the penalty apply from the next round? for example my 90 second penalty from round 4 mean i start 90 seconds behind for one/all of the races in round 5? or did it somehow affect the result from round 4 (the round where the penalty was earned.)

also i want to add that the reply commentary from round 4 made it a lot of fun. I wasn't expecting that at all. who exactly add in the commentary?

The penalty is a time penalty that only effects the results of the race it is applied, so only round 4.

As for the commentary that's all part of the core package

i'm sure you'll get the lap times down, look carefully at the settings. I just spent a frustrating 30 minutes struggling to keep this BMW straight thinking "whats going on last night i was running well" and then as i was about to give up i realised i she was wearing "sports hards".... go figure!

Yeah the penalty only applies in the race it was issued for. So the photo I took at the end of the race showed that you finished 1:13 behind the leader. Then with the 90 second penalty it puts you 2:43 behind in the official results for race 2 that were posted.

That means you will be starting Round 5 with no penalties and an equal opportunity to compete with everyone else.
