In glorious fashion the last round will be a scorcher just like the weather up here today!!! 23' at tarmac level here, so expect a blistering race around the ring in our Evo's 👍

Great racing tonight Omnius, although the ring is still my nemesis, and I seemed to do better as a spectator after 6 laps of crashes.

Great event last night Omnius really enjoyed it. A fitting finale to a great season 👍 👍 👍 Great win for Geordie and well done to Richy on taking advantage of all my errors, Nurburgring isn't exactly kind to me either Ade

But just over the Horizon is Season 4 which I will be participating in these...

Red and Gold this time 👍

Lap 6, and buraspo tries to take a gap that was never even there in the first place, after a whole half lap of having the door closed in his face by R063R. With ever-increasing frustration, buraspo decides clean racing isn't the way to go, and gives R063R a helping hand on to the green.

R063R is on the green, while buraspo remains comfortably on the black. It's very difficult to tell from this angle, but has buraspo slowed down to let R063R rejoin ahead of him after his blatant nudge.......?

Don't be so silly.... buraspo ignores the gentlemanly conduct procedure and thunders on, not lifting off the gas for even a second.

Remember, guys - lap 6 if you want to watch the events unfold for yourself in their entirety. Watch it from buraspo's persepctive, so you can see my display of clean defence and then him trying to make 6 inches turn into 6 feet......by way of dodgem skills.

Naughty, Naughty buraspo! :ouch: 👍

S4 updates soon...after giving the car the 'concours' treatment, out soaking up the sun in the garden with a few ales, I'll be uploading them when I've had enough sun :sly:

*Congratulations*
Dowlin39 for winning S3-TIII 👍

And that brings to close a well ran Season 3 of the CORE GT. Many thanks go out to all who took part and made it the season it was.

And it is without further-ado to announce that the overall winner of Season 3 is none other than the man himself, the wearer of socks...

Well that was a very fun Season, I'm glad i stumbled upon it. Those 5 DNS kind of hurt, would have loved to finish all of them. Hell I even managed 2nd in the Championship standings.

If you're up for some suggestions, I noticed that the Point distributions are a bit unfair, largely determined by turn ups in the race. Another big part comes from which days you missed. Missing a Club day is much more severe than missing a Championship day. Also winning a Endurance should be more rewarding than placing well on both races of a Club day. So for my suggestion: Distribute fixed Points for every place dependent on Race type. A single Club race should score lower than a Championship race, which in turn scores lower than a Endurance race. I'm also a big fan of giving out points to all participants, so points can be awarded from 1-16 accordingly.

My reason for mentioning this suggestion is that weird scenarios can occur with attendance based points, for example Player1 placing overall better than Player2, but Player2 manages to win a few full house races, thus receiving more points than Player1, who only won a few low attendance races but with equally tough competition up front.

On another note: I finally managed to complete my Racing seat and now have a comfortable+stable position for my wheel. This means I'll drop the DS3 and will be a full time G27 driver next season (including SC2).

I couldn't agree more and as if by magic....👍

Season 4 Sign up

This season I will be 'limiting' places to 14. Also a new points system will be in place.

Until the full details are uploaded on page 1, please register your place on the grid here with your car and wheel colours for both the Championship and Club cars.

Good race friday lads 👍, that was a great way to end the season the 3 stop strategy was the way to go round the Ring. The pit lane is so short on this track that it made no sense doing a hole lap on worn tyres as you lose so much time being such a long track, Great win geordie your strategy was faultless 👍

It's been a pleasure racing with you all this season

Thanks Omnius 👍👍👍

Just got to say a big thanks to omnius for taking the time to organise what has grown into a good clean, competitive series with some serious competition. Win or loose its been a blast!!!

To think just a couple of months ago we were getting grids of 5 starters and it all nearly came to an end.

Count me in for next season,I'll sort my colours out in the next few days.

and the color too?

This is a one make Series, the specs for both cars needed are on page one. Colors are free to choose.

On that note: #48 Championship: Matte Black/ Matte light Green; Club Racing tbd, but will be announced as soon as i get a feel for the G4's character.
