Haven't tried the car yet, but the video is interesting.
In some ways it's the best and worst of Gran Turismo. Some of the shots are visually stunning, whilst in others the way the car moves looks wrong. Then there is the really pants looking in car tiny steering input. (Will a generation of players think you only ever have to turn the wheel 20 degrees?).
Interesting that there is no smoke or even dust in this video. Could be various reasons behind that of course.
I like the idea of a preview of a model like this, though. Looking forward to trying it!

The car is very fun to drive. It does feel more precise and predictable than the C6.
The sounds are OK to me. Not great but not bad.
Also it seems the textures on the clothing are lower resolution than in the masked GT-R.
It doesn't look very good when you look closer IMO, but that's not a too serious problem.
I was expecting more somthing like 500-600 hp but 450 is good enough.
Overall it is a very good car and an welcome addition to the game.

450bhp and 1500kg are suspiciously rounded numbers, I really wouldn't be surprised if they're just placeholder stats and subject to large change. I mean whilst it's a good marketing exercise for Chevy I doubt they will want the true performance shown off in game straight away.

i did this before if your in europe i belive its not out but if you downloaded it. It should be in game you have to download it from there.

Gearing seems fake, not least because every is indication that the actual car will have a 7 speed manual and 8 speed automatic. First through third seem too short and fourth through sixth are too long. Wish I could see what actual ratios they were using.

Eh. Untuneable (Figures, though.) and poor performance, but considering it's probably the base model it's not too terrible. Feels like driving a land yacht and can't put the power down well stock, either. Sounds pretty nice, which is somewhat redeeming, but I drove it once and I'm probably never going to drive it again. Appreciate that it's in the game, but it's just kind of there for laughs until the C7 actually rolls out, like the GTR was in Prologue.

I just realized that the Seasonal TT's end tonight. What do you think about them having a special time trial event with just the Vette? They could make it available to everyone to use like they did with the Nissan GT-R awhile back. A non tuning, stock event. Just thought I'd throw that out there to add to the discussion.

This car feels pretty stable and the new gen V LT1 is torquey.
Can't wait to see what GM has in store for the different levels of this new engine.

That would be great! I love stock time trials with no tuning allowed whatsoever.
By the way has anyone with an EU account managed to download the car and make it work in-game?

I think it would be cool anyway. A chance for them to highlight the car in an event. Just seems like a perfect storm, lol.
@Louie: Yea, I was digging on that one with the Nissan. Loved that track also. Thats when I really started getting into time trialing. Spent many, many hours on that event.
