Thanks for proving you didn't read my entire post.

Depends on how it's built. If it's stripped, roll caged & tuned correctly, then yes, it'll probably have no problem terrorizing a C7 Corvette on a track. However, at that point, it's more race car than anything & a terrible car to commute in. We have a local who can build them like this for around $20,000.

I was in reply to the member asking about a 300+whp Miata terrorizing a C7 on the track, then you questioned the build, of which I replied the parts in it are necessary.

But, I'll just forget it & say you're right to avoid the BS....

I agree that the side profile of the Solstice Coupe bears a number of similarities with the C7, but nothing else.

I can also see similarities between the C7 and the 599 from the side as well, especially the door design and the profile from the windscreen forward.

The vent on the top/side of the rear fender needs to go but otherwise looks fantastic.
