Course Maker in GT6?

I really hope you can make custom dirt trails criss-crossing my race courses. I can see some truly epic off-road vs Pavement races. And yes, the dirt track will jump over the Tarmac at every opportunity. (If its possible)

I could easily see PD restraining what you could do with a course editor, especially with all of the posts in this thread already. How many people would recreate a real world track and name it exactly that? They better get their lawyers to write up a pretty good disclaimer.

What? No way, it's fine to make a track 100% true to life and use it without license as long as you don't call it so. Just look at pCars, they build the track before they have licenses, so they use placeholder names until they acquire said licenses.

No reason for PD to limit us based on legal issues, only technical ones.

I don't think that we are able to create so long tracks as Targa Florio and so on, because the memory to create a track will be limited, IMO.

Well, hopefully we can create point to point this time and make drag strips for those who have been begging for one. 👍

I'm hopefully going to be able to copy real life tracks... Elevation and looks may not be 100%, but at least the shape and layout can be there?

I would make a series of highways leading into a huge section of city. It would be kind of like a free roam, for a start.

Yo momma so fat, police had to drive around all 2500 square kilometers of her and upload the GPS data into GT6 instead of doing a chalk outline. :P

(Just a joke... :scared:)

If there's no Bump Map value (10 = bumpy road & 1 = dead flat) I won't be using it at all, as there are too many unrealistically smooth tracks in GT already. But if it does have a slider to increase the road surface bump map, then oh my days! Happy times! :D

Attempt to recreate Greenspring Valley Road, a local Backwoods thruway in my state, still somewhat caught in the past.

I really doubt that you can recreate anything. I think they recreated the city and surrounding area and most likely you can use the roads they already laid out.

i think so too. we'll be able to use the tracks in that area i think.

a map of the whole are would be cool :D. until now we don't know if it will be Ronda in the middle and everything 25km/50km arround it or anything else

Oh yeah!

Jump courses like you've never seen before, absolutely epic take-offs and air... Can you imagine?

I wanna fly an Escudo over Ronda.

Little is known right now, but I like to see multiple point to point roads that can be used for rally events.

Take a Group B Audi flat out though Ronda!

from that whole map we've just some pics from Ronda with a little bit of the nature in the background.

i want to know everything about the new course maker, now!!!!

I'll probably be using it to make a Targe Florio, or Mille Miglia. Or just some huge point to point track. Oh what fun this will be.

As I said before...Kaz a while back had in consideration this game for the track editor...and he actually said that wanted something like this:

ModNation Racers

Tutorial:

Imagine something similar to that in a huge sandbox environment to create our tracks/roads. Damn...too much. Taking some "pills" to go down with the hype. (actually chocolate cookies are my "pills" lol)

I'll create original racetracks. Maybe take some inspiration from real world tracks, but not more than that. I doubt recreating tracks will be possible.

Nobody knows, but it's very much possible we can lay down our own tarmac, as in Toscana, Eifel and Mt Aso in GT5.

A point A to B track, starting from the center of the city to the mountains. If theres day/night transition it will be even better.
