CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

I plan to get both AC and GTS (will wait for after release reports) but will have the same issue I had with pCARS. Difficult for me to schedule racing time during hours most people play.

Yeah thats the problem with so many time zones to contend with

I suppose you're right. You're even three hours behind me, and we're on the same side of the pond.

Isn't almost tomorrow in Britain? :P

Well normally I am on 6:15am-7:45am PST M-F. I basically have "me time" in the morning before work. So pretty much no one is on playing. In my time zone they are asleep or getting ready for work/school. East Coast they are at work/school. UK they are getting close to the end of their work/school day.

Then randomly I get time on the weekends early morning or late nights (6am-9am or 11pm+) but I can't schedule the time.

Basically what I used to do was run weekday morning spec races on pCARS. Public rooms but required manual transmission, and real assists to limit hacks. I had a few people that showed up multiple times and plenty of clean races so it was fun at least.

Had a crash on S2 and lost my front left tyre. Came in 10 sec behind @TDZdave so I'm quite happy with that. On S3 I had to repair my left rear tyre after it punctured early. If I'm 3,5 minute or less behind leader after this round I'm pleased 👍

I lost my rear right wheel completely at the end of the second stage...
The rally I thought I'd grab some points is literally turning into a:censored: show

~sigh~ after the first two stages, I had built up an 8 second lead. I was flying through the third stage and with 500M left, it all went wrong. Got stuck in a little patch of trees (left 4, tightens over crest...look out for that one). 15 second reset penalty. 100M later on the last, flat out straight I clipped the bridge. Rolled a few times and punctured my front left. Lost a total of 31 (or so) seconds to the fastest time and slipped to second.
Really need to find my focus on the last four stages if I have any hope of staying on the podium...

Was thinking of running that next mate, will let you know.

Rally Finland Report

Team ICH-Motorsport
The team had high hopes for this event as pre-event testing had shown some promising speed. A few suspension setups had been tried but on the day a standard setup was felt to give the best all round performance.

SS1 saw driver Iain Huitson settle into a comfortable rhythm with no major incidents to report. SS2 saw a bit of a nervous moment shortly after the start when the car oversteered unexpectedly out of a corner but then things settled down for the remainder of this stage and the whole of SS3.
First service was a relaxed affair as little needed to be done to the car.
SS4 started OK but mid stage saw a bad landing off a L4/jump corner and glancing contact with a power pole. This did some body damage but the car still seemed to handle well, unfortunately by the end of the stage the water temperature was rising causing some concern for the crew. As second service was still two stages away it was a case of push on regardless.
SS5 and again a slight off saw further damage to the car with both the engine management and water temperature warning lights coming on.
The crew needed to get to service so a slightly reduced pace was employed for SS6.
Service was a mad panic to repair as much damage as possible before the final stage.
Although the team made a valiant effort, the crew arrived at the start of the final stage with both warning lights showing and steam rising from the bonnet. Time to throw caution to the wind and go for it! Apart from a small trip along a ditch the stage went well.

Despite all the problems the crew and team enjoyed the event and look forward to seeing everyone else's results.

@Eyeseeh50 & @GOTMAXPOWER - you guys are tearing it up! That's awesome pace!!

Eyeseeh50's stage times on SS1 and SS2 are impressive. Especially the first stage. I thought I went fast and you were 8 seconds ahead of me. That's seriously impressive pace, guys. Can't wait to get home and finish the last four stages and hopefully put some pressure on your guys!!

I've seen some of your times and you definitely have the pace mate 👍
Thanks for the compliment

Official Rally Report- Finland

JDM_V0RT3X7373: "Consistency was key here. I wasn't pushing very hard so as to avoid unsettling the car and putting it in an awkward place. Going over a crest at a slightly wrong angle or not having your wheels positioned correctly can end your rally here, so I was very cautious today, assuming that much of my competition would make mistakes. I made a few myself, but they didn't take too much speed away. I damaged my radiator pretty badly halfway through the rally, and had to run for two whole stages with an overheating car. Luckily the higher speeds meant more air running through the system, so it wasn't too much of an issue. We got some solid points here, and that was my only goal for the weekend."

I am around half into the rally, and around 30 sec behind, very happy with that, normally Finland is a graveyard for me, but I stiffened the suspension and one click more camber on the rear, and it made it much more driveable.

Hopefully I will get through in one piece  Nice pace guys, as always
