CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

"I'm disappointed for my team. Obviously the hardest working team in this championship, through no fault of their own. Thus far it's been a disappointing season for me. The crash in Monte Carlo, the inconsistency in Sweden and this week in Finland, it was just a case of a young driver trying too hard. Credit to my fellow drivers who are pushing us all to be faster. I'm thankful for the break coming up before Germany, so I can take some time to relax and start learning how to drive smarter. I hope to reward my team who's worked so hard to keep my car driveable considering I bring them back a bucket of bolts every stage."

Wow, you seriously think that? God, I think that the 2010's cars are the best.

They're good but hard to master. Look at my vid above with my Escort and I'll upload a vid with my 2010 car :)

Edit:
Did 2 runs. I'm impressed and surprised by my 2nd run. Fastest of my friends 👍 in car first then replay.

Next we are off to the sealed surfaces of Rally Germany. Good luck to you all.

Almost done with Germany 👍 it's going OK with no major accidents. A few spins here and there and a few crashes but overall happy so far except for "waldorf" where I lost about 20 seconds the first 1,5 minute because I wasn't prepared for the woods :)

Edit: jinxed it...

Anyways... here's S7

That looked like a good run at the stage, looks faster than my 3:03.6 that I just set.

Thanks, don`t remenber the time, but it was my best run. Feel I had a good consistensy in germany, I might be wrong, but I feel Subaru is slower on Germany then I have felt on the other countries, but it might just be I have much to learn on germany still. Happy to be the fastest in my team at least :D

Made it to the first service area last night. Talk about a nose-to-nose battle with @Manuelos after SS3, managed to squeak into top spot with one tenth of a cushion...which isn't much of one. Yikes!

Great pace from the usual suspects...hoping I can maintain focus and continue to push. We shall see...

Using a 2010 car in Masters. I regret it after 2 stages  it's a great car but impossible to push all the timr

Me too!! Trying out the Polo in competition for this first time. My first in Masters was, ironically, Germany and I dominated with a 35 second lead. Which is what makes the pace in our Group A that much more impressive...as we're WAY faster than the "Masters" as a group!

I screwed up and are 5 minutes behind after 5 stages

Boooo!!! That sucks. That's been the story of the Championship for me this particular season. Monte Carlo, where I feel I'm the strongest, I didn't make it through the second stage. I was disappointed. Sweden was embarrassing for me. I should be able to drive in the snow better than that. Considering where you're from, I'm sure you can relate. And Finland was just a comedy of errors for me. I had good pace, but every mistake I made cost me big. It was a miracle I could even finish that rally, as my car was unrecognizable by the end. So far, Germany's been going good for me. Some small mistakes in the first stage with a bit to much oversteer into a couple of hairpins, but solid. I'm hoping to keep my focus for the rest of the way and get some much needed points.

It's amazing how focused you have to be. On circuit racers, once you know the track, you can let your mind wander a bit and manage to stay competitive. In DiRT, my mind wanders for a moment and I'm into the trees...sky...rolling down hills, etc. It's awesome. Sometimes frustrating, but that's what makes it cool.

You have good pace, @knukken. Keep at it and we'll all be chasing you in no time!!

***Official Rally Report - Germany***
"Another disappointing result for my team. We had such a good car coming into this rally, and we'd made some adjustments that produced a rock solid car capable of being competitive in the field. For the first time this season, I left the first service area with a perfect car and in one moment of a lack of focus, a little too early on the brakes, that promptly ended the rally for us. Luckily nobody was hurt. We have two rallies left on the season, that happen to be the toughest tests on the calendar, on both the cars and drivers. Judging from the results thus far, I don't have high hopes. The goal now seems to be just to finish. Being competitive this season is simply not a reality"

Rally German didn't go aswell as was hoped. A steady start seemed to go OK but the pace of following drivers was badly underestimated. From first service onwards I tried to push a little bit harder but still the pace of the faster drivers eluded me. By the time we had reached SS8 Frauenberg the car was still in good condition so it was felt by the team I should push even harder. Unfortunately this led to me having three half spins during the stage which currently puts me some 10 seconds plus behind the leader.
I must say a big thank you to the team for keeping the car running like clockwork throughout this event.
We will now focus on the two hardest gravel events that are co

Car was a little tail happy under braking, but I was able to control it well. I was leading by nearly a minute going into the last stage, and I was hoping for some power stage points, but noooo. I had some braking issues and went off twice to recieve 29 seconds in penalties. Power stages and I just don't get along.
