The Crap Dirt Rally Championship 2017
Regulations
Welcome to the 2017 version of the Crap Dirt Rally Championships
Here are the basic rules for the seasons
Overall championship points will be determined by the number of competitors that finish each event.
i.e. if 20 competitors finish an event then 1st place will receive 20 points, 2nd place will receive 19 points down to 20th place receiving 1 point.
The last stage of each event will be a power stage allowing the top 5 drivers to gain extra points in the overall championship. Points will be awarded as follows 1st 5 points, 2nd 4 points, 3rd 3 points, 4th 2 points and 5th 1 point.
Every other stage will have a service area and service will be available before every power stage.
Class championships will be run during certain championship seasons. The top 5 drivers in each class will be awarded points as follows 1st 10 points, 2nd 8 points, 3rd 6 points, 4th 4 points and 5th 2 points. The top 3 drivers overall on each event will NOT be eligible for class points.
If a competitor has any problem with penalty points applied by the game, it is the competitors responsibility to record the play back of the stage, preferably in chase cam to give the max view of the incident and post it to the Crap Dirt Rally GTPlanet forum thread for all members to judge.
End of season ties will be resolved by using the fastest first rule. Whom ever is fastest in the earliest event that both competitors finished will be deemed first in a tie situation.
The first season will be for both Group B 4wd and 2wd cars. Each drive-train will have its own class and competitors can score points in either of these classes towards the class championship as detailed above.
