CRAP DiRT Rally Club [PS4] Racenet League Events live

The Opel is quite a nice car to drive, I was expecting it to be all over the place like the Lancia 037 but it's pretty balanced (on asphalt at least). It's kind of like the Audi Quattro in that it's more predictable (of these Group B beasts) but can't match the pace of the monsters like the Peugeot.

btw I don't understand the 4WD standings, 6 who finished the rally don't have points

Only the top 5 in class are awarded points and so that the overall winner doesn't also win the class, the top 3 overall cannot score class points. That is why you, Dice and me didn't get class points.

Hope that helps.

I might do the rwd I can't find a 4wd that'll work for me
Try the 037, you'll like it

Finished the Rally Sweden.
I think I drove well. I struggled on some corners, but there I`ve lost at all max. 15 seconds. This rally was very tricky and hard to drive, but I like this challenge.
I`m very suprised with my drive. I hope this will be my first Top-5 result in this league. But let`s see what the other drivers (you) will reach on this stages. :)

I think given your pace last rally you're pretty much guaranteed a podium from this one with that clean run. I think the winner will be you or @TRGTspecialist

Did a little bit of testing with the Opel Manta 400 this evening and was quite happy with my pace. Managed a 7:15.xxx for the first stage and 3:22.xxx for the second. The second stage time is ranked 17th in the world which shocked me
But can I repeat these times on the event is the big question!

Forget the car, I don't think I'm gonna make it to the end of the season in one piece. It's too intense! Trying to avoid the snow banks in a rocket-powered boat (which reacts to every bump) is a good lesson in slowing down to have any chance of going fast............

Great battle with @lskill909, close all the way, thought I might have done enough going into the last stage but I choked a bit + your quick final run meant you just pipped ahead. Good job! Hopefully we both did enough to nab a nice chunk of points. :)

Seriously, give the little Renault 5 turbo a try. I think it's a very neutral handling car for mid engine rear wheel drive.
Oh and well done on second place by the way.

I will buy one and max out the upgrades. Will give me an opportunity to learn how to drive it. Thanks for the suggestion.
As for Monte, I really wasn't expecting that result. Thank you. My most proud moment competing in the C.R.A.P. League thus far. Hopefully I can keep some pace going...

Thanky you mate! :)

Yes. It was a very intense and close battle between us. In the last stage I pushed the absolutely maximum, because I thought that the drivers, who will later start can be close ahead or behind me and for sure I want to take the full Power Stage Points to rank up in the standings. :)

Now, let`s see what the other drivers will do in this rally.

Next stop is Greece: It can be a big win or a big loose for me. I really like some stages, but so I even hate some stages. But I`ve to be foccused and look forward to the next challenge. ;)

I really love this league. Many competitors and in addition to that very kind and fair guys here. :)

Problem solved, there is VR option, new zero point with eye using PS camera.I get head and eye ache little bit and also fog place on screen..

What's the VR like? Is it worth it? They're charging close to $1000 CDN for it here in Canada...and that's a lot of money.

Hey guys! I started Monte Carlo with Lancia 037 but never found time to finish the rally. This week looks pretty much the same as I'm really keen to drive rally Sweden but i've been really busy last two weeks. I wish I'll find some time to challenge @Manuelos in RWD championship but already lost my first rally and this one looks bad as well. I apologize you all for this.

It's not a problem mate, I know really life can get in the way of gaming. It's just how it is.

I use PS VR (Finland 430euro)it like video canon picture and handling is lot better, feels like you are into car.Dirt is not VR game but still is better with VR.

It's just been announced that full VR support is coming to Dirt Rally in a couple of weeks time. I will be interested in hearing what you think of it.
The other thing that I'm not sure about is focusing as I need to wear glasses to read. Do I have to wear glasses with the VR headset or can you tune their focus?

Finished my first rally after the disaster in Monte Carlo. :D

5th from 8 finishers so far...Hoping for a Top 10 finish but it wasn't a fantastic run by any means.

Dove back into DiRT today for the first time in a long time, great fun with my TH8A shifter, and i love a bit of classic RWD in the Escort!!!

Rally Sweden Official Report: JDM_V0RT3X7373-

Going into this rally, i knew i had to minimize mistakes and take it easy. Luckily, I was able to get a podium place which surpassed my expectations. There were a few mistakes here and there, but no major ones. Unfortunately, things kept going down hill and I was unable to protect the lead, but i thought that going for any faster times could put myself and the car at unnecessary risk. The car was always in good condition, and I'm glad it left the service park at 100 percent every time. There were many times i found it hard to listen to the pacenotes, purely because i was concentrating on the road so much, haha. I don't think I've ever done a rally where I spent such a small amount of time at full throttle. I'm really looking forward to a good competitive season this year, ad good luck to all of my fellow drivers out there!
