I'd recommend you to design a car model- you'll just lose money for maintenence costs of your dealers and factories if you don't.
Funny you should say that....
Lone Star Motor Company Press Release
As proprietor of the company, I would like to bestow a best of luck wish to all my peers. It won't be coming my way, so here's hoping it comes to you.
Now to business. I would like to announce the creation of two full-fledged models, a small pick-up and a corresponding SUV, that are intended to fill a void in the market. I'd also like to announce a limited production of tribute coupes based on the 1933-34 Ford Model-B. Details are as follows:
Model Name: LSMC Austin (placeholder)
Trim Levels: N/A
Body Style(s): 2-Door Small Pickup
Engine(s): 2.0L I4; 3.0L V6
Drivetrain(s): Front Engine, Rear and 4 Wheel drives available.
Transmission(s): 5 Speed Manual
Location of Factory: I-20 Factory
Description (optional): After the demise of the small truck class in the US, people finally started to realize they were in most cases a better choice than the full size options that became a status symbol. Unfortunately, by the time this occurred, the Ford Ranger had been dropped, and it's former competition had either been buried or had bulked up. The "Austin" will hopefully fill that void, bringing balance to the scales again. In theory anyway.
Model Name: LSMC Bastrop (placeholder)
Trim Levels: N/A
Body Style(s): 4-Door Small SUV
Engine(s): 2.0L I4; 3.0L V6
Drivetrain(s): Front Engine, Rear and 4 Wheel drives available.
Transmission(s): 5 Speed Manual, 5 Speed Auto
Location of Factory: I-20 Factory
Description (optional): It was a bit harder to convince the managers that this was a move to be made, mainly because most had never thought of a truly small SUV that could hold it's own against the behemoth Suburbans, Expeditions, and the increasingly rare Excursions. I proceeded to inform them of the S-10 and it's SUV equal Blazer, then of other small SUVs that can do things the big boys can't. The home run? Me: "Robert, what was the fuel mileage compared to your monster?" Tooling prep started the next day.
Model Name: LSMC Tribute-B (placeholder)
Trim Levels: N/A
Body Style(s): 2-Door, 3-Window Coupe
Engine(s): 4.0L V8
Drivetrain(s): Front Engine, Rear Drive
Transmission(s): 5 Speed Manual
Location of Factory: MW Handbuilt
Description (optional): I may be the big boss, but I like to get involved at every level. That is why the MW shop will remain a handbuild factory, and why I have a second office there. The first order upon completion was non-negotiable. As a lifelong ZZ Top fan, I was always enamored by both the Eliminator and the Afterburner, essentially a hot-rodded '33 Model B and a spaceship variant respectively. Cadzilla as well, but first thing's first. The car will be a modern day version of the old Model B's, thanks to technology's unrepentant march, and while they won't be chopped and sectioned like most hot-rods are, there have been a few dimensional tweaks made. Plan is for 334 to be made. One is mine.

EDIT: Dad procured TMS tickets. The "Big Hoss TV" from the front stretch is like watching a 32" from 10 feet away.
