Mind you this happened last time and some one found another tune.
I guess it all depends if the PP issues is still listed in Known Issues following the patch, if it is another tune may be possible to be found but I will just start using my alternate car for the race.

Have the 12 million for the Jag so anything else I will just have to wait for or grind other cars in the race.

If the glitch has been fixed, I just have to give props to PD, because clearly something like that can't happen on a game like this.

Still, it wouldn't do PD any harm to add a Gr.1 (top class of cars in the game other than one make races with Red Bull X2014s) with a race that nets you about over 2 million per hour at the very least.

I haven't done the Gr.1 menu books (somehow I have to re-install the game again due to this update patch that bricked the game), so if anyone has done them, tell me how much you can get in those.

It MIGHT be possible, will continue testing different settings.

did you recommend any gr.2 type car?
I fancy the Lexus SC430 GT500 but it's under 760PP...
All the GT500 cars win it easily. I have them all. The 2 racing McLaren models win it easily too. I would recommend the long tail F1 if you have it as I find it more fun to drive but the GT500 cars with the Aero package they have are easier imo.
If you use the McLaren don’t fit a turbo and run fuel 6 pit on lap 8 or nine then full blast till the end. When on fuel 6 shift at the half way point on the rev counter and it saves a lot of fuel. You don’t need a car right at 800 but if that’s what you want the Lexus, both of them in fact are a good choice. Use @praiano63 tunes for the Lexus, it’s excellent as always.

tried with the NSX gt500, leader is doing 1:40, my best is 1:43 :/

Transmission settings no longer affect PP so no more Tokyo folks. That's what PD wants. No matter how many times people do setups, they'll be bound to fail.

You would be my best friend for life if you found a way to continue this race with the Tomahawk. I never drove the Tomahawk in GT Sport but I am having a blast with it in the Tokyo race. It would have been nice if PD just left that car alone for use in offline races, who cares how other people choose to play the game?? If PD were worried about losing profits on possible microtransactions its not valid, I would never use real money to buy a car on my TV that could disappear with a corrupt game save. People who used it simply to grind for credits will still grind by running the next most profitable race. PD essentially fixed nothing with this "repair".

I'm gonna wait until someone finds the right one

For Sardegna Road Course I run a bone stock McLaren 650s GT3. Stop 2 times, wins easily and a fun race. $725k. I did the Tomahawk game for a couple rounds but I just don't enjoy that race as much or the car. I mean ya, who doesn't like the power, but I just don't get along with it's other driving behaviors. YMMV. I also Like the 7 laps of LeMans. Easy $825k and I can sip a beverage on the straights.
