Was able to purchase a second F1 GTR pretty quickly thanks to this glitch, i'm pretty sure PD will patch it out the next update so i'm trying to get atleast $30-$40 million from it before they do.

A tip I would suggest for MT users is to change the gear to 7 and run that the whole race with TCS on 5, besides the last turn before the straight the car will be very stable when running constant low RPMs.

Has this been patched out? All I can get is a "!" in the PP rating and it will not allow me to enter the race. Tried playing with the gears, setting them, resetting them, and I never get a 600 or less PP it just goes from 1200 to "!". Tried intermediate tires, tried playing with the power restrictor and ecu settings to no avail. Tried different tire compound on front/back, nothing.

Copy the exact same settings I have on the Opening post. EXACTLY the same, and you will have to get the same pp as me. I confirmed this already.

I also explain in there how to get the correct gear values.

I had them copied exactly and it wasn't working.

However I tried changing each gear to the proper setting and then re-calculating the values and backing out of the tuning sheet between changes. After getting the gears reset again and changing to race hards after having them set to intermediate, backing out, then going back into the sheet it finally dropped to 595PP!

So it's just really finicky. Thanks for the response and for bringing attention to this! Much appreciated!

After using this trick for 3 or 4 races in a row on Sunday I managed to hit consistently 18 min races but not under.

I am being very careful when lapping back markers as I want to keep the clean bonus.

I now manage to go full race without wall penalty but my time is lost passing back markers carefully.

Still a great way to farm. People enjoy and fill that bank up before the next patch...
You'll get the clean race bonus regardless of what you do, so go balls to the wall. The only thing that sucks is sitting there waiting to burn off the penalty.

Anyone else having the same problem with manual vs automatic transmission, lowering the PP?

Dropping down out of 4th gear in the automatic is horrible, if its raining you have to wait until another car hits you from behind just hard enough to push you past 40mph, without sending you spinning into the side. I was stuck at ~20mph for 8 minutes until I got the right push to send me back up into 4th.
Just use manual lol

I have sat here for an hour matching the gear ratios and my car won’t go below about 1135 pp no matter how much I fiddle with - or + 1 ballasts or ecu revisions , please help or I just wasted a million plus credits !!!

Dont floor it, slowly apply throttle and you should be able to get moving but it can take 15 seconds.

If you use manual just stay in 7th

It's much easier to use manual. You'll start the race in 4th, but I'd immediately shift to 5th as soon as you have control. Use 6th on the long straight to avoid hitting rev limiter. Only drop into 4th when braking into the really sharp hairpin before the large straight. Once pointed forward, launch in 5th out of the hairpin. No need to use 1-3 or 7 so it's just managing a 3-speed

Managing to do 1 stop strat at just over 16 mins now and lapping the field 5 times … 8th race of the day. Rinsing it for every credit while I can!

Using Automatic and 5 TCS to make it as least demanding as possible so I can get it over and done with.

I was able to start with the racing intermediate tires by adding 39 ballast.

Don't know if its been posted yet.

I think you need to start with RH

Is the stop worth it? You only need inters for 3-4 laps in turns 1 and 2. The rest are flat, except a small lift in one of the right handers. From Lap 5 onwards it's flat everywhere except turn 1 and the hairpin.

Just to give a heads up...

You are about 6-7 seconds on the 1st lap with Intermediates, but, you lose about 2+ seconds per lap on the rest. So Racing Hards are still the best option.

I can't get it below 1200, any help would be appreciated.
Copy the settings on my opening post, EXACTLY as it is being shown. And I mean literally, to a T. Suspension settings, LSD, power, ballast, everything. It SHOULd give you below 600pp.

EDIT: I noticed You were quotting the guy posting the 2300hp version. I have to post those settings as well.

As you set each gear try backing out and hitting triangle to re-calculate, maybe even back out of the tuning page and re-entering. Buy intermediates to add, re-calculate, and then go back to racing hards. I think that is what triggered it to work for me, but I was messing around with so many variables it's hard to tell for sure.

Just in five, six minutes at most was able to get a 595PP tune with just 90 percent ECU and starting with RH.. will keep trying for starting with RI and same power

Make sure to use the correct adjustable transmission. I can’t remember which didn’t work, but as soon as I changed transmission and put the correct values in, I’m at 596 pp.

@tiberiusteng yeah, I actually saw your post a couple days ago on this and followed it.
Lmao this is the most fun you can have in the game.
I don't think fun is a word I'd use. This is just for making a lot of money very quickly.

Also, I see people talking about clean race bonus. Someone, I think on here, mentioned that you can't lose CRB after you lap someone. So, if that's true, just be worried off the line until you get into first, then you should be good

Got one with Racing Softs, added ballast and played with gear ratios… will try now and see how it feels.. 598PP

Edit: Made another with Racing Wets, if anybody want to try it lemme know, I’m not exactly the best pilot for this car and maybe it’s a similar feel from the IM tune. At least the first lap is way more relaxed.

Edit 2: Nevermind, I’d rather stay on RH all the time. Oh well, I was mostly curious to see what could trigger the PP glitch. Silly fun that reminded me of the Escudo in the old Rome track.

Tried with RS and RM tyres, not worth it...
Currently using RH with 100% power, just had to change height a bit and fiddle with gears final. I'm consistently finishing the race within 18 minutes.

I just tried this for the first time, and I would say that 16 minutes is unrealistic, unless you're a Tomahawk expert.
It took me 22 minutes. The car is a total nightmare to control on a wet track.
I had probably about 90 seconds worth of wall penalties, too.
And you get penalties because when they slow you down to fulfill your penalties, it doesn't ghost your car and the other cars bump you into the wall while you crawl at 55 mph too...

Think I’ll get on this today. Had a 500 mile session yesterday. I’d imagine I’ll do a few more in the Tomahawk. I’m retired so have plenty time for miles. Been grinding th Le Mans 30 min and WTC races and championships.

the party ends tomorrow ... ?

the party ends tomorrow ... ?
And I'm not at home today, won't even be able to play until Thursday. RIP me.
