So the only viable easy option right now is the Alpine A220 which is no longer for sale?
If they patched it, it is not an option anymore
Tthe Alpine is a LCD car and not for sale right now.
but there are somany cars that will do the job, just takes 27 minuts, look at the thread, lots of idea's

Man I hope they don't bump the PP on my legit 600PP Lancia.

Also, anyone who has a 787B on 700PP before, does that get bumped too ?
One of my Lancia, the engine swap tune, has jumped to just over 600pp but one notch down on the ecu brings it inline. Why?It just takes the fun out of the game.

My Skyline is still intact. Been getting the job done since it’s update. It’s downforce helps.

Managed to get the Chaparral 2J back under 600PP(post patch), but something is amiss. You really need to manhandle the car when putting the power down and it's such a struggle, unlike before where it was manageable and still kinda fun. Now, not so much lol. If anyone has a better tune, by all means post it up haha.

did you try FM6 ?

Alpine still works!
All I did to it was max out the downforce and install the Racing Crank Shaft. Now it's at 593 PP and even faster than before!

Proof and setup below:

If the racing crankshaft can only be won by getting a lucky roulette spin, most people won't have it though, so hopefully there is another alternative.

First impressions of the A220 after patch:
1) Uses more fuel
2) Tyres(especially the rears) wear out waaay faster.I could do 8 laps before a tyre change, but now I can only do 6 laps and the rears are already 95% red! I have to do a 2 stopper if I want fast laps otherwise there's just not enough grip. And speaking of grip, I noticed the tyres have more traction than they did previously. With the rear tyres at 90% red, they have the same traction as if they're at 40%! Even with the extra downforce they shouldn't have so much traction.
3) Why does my A220 pull to the right? Never did that before. Is there a wheel alignment shop in GT7 I don't know about? 😂
4) The extra downforce applied(maxed F/R) in this tune did not has slightly affected the max speed down the straight by 1-2km/h(0.6-1.2mph), but has increased cornering speed.
Edit:
5)Damage to vehicle is more severe and lasts longer.

1. who knows, physics change+ more down force.

2.I think the tires are just indicating how worn they actually are now.

3. damage last alot longer now are you sure you were nt just hitting a wall?

Damage to vehicle does last longer now and seems much more severe in that it affects the steering dramatically.
Sometimes if you hit hard enough it becomes almost undriveable lol.
Since the patch I've noticed my A220 has been pulling right occasionally, and that's without hitting any walls. :banghead:

Yup, the A220 just feels so weird now and the tyre wear is catastrophic. Had to pit again at lap 12 because the rear tyres were beyond shot.

i Felt that any slight touch to wall or opponents car gets me the red damage easily and started to pull to one side. Together with the new RS tire compound , I guess they have quietly switch RS to RSS racing super soft.

Glad I'm not the only one to sense a change in the A220's driving dynamics then. Yeah, happened to me the first time driving it at lap 12 where both rears were fully red lol.
