Would just like to point out that i think alex deserves his 1pt due to his dc in the feature at nürb, and that maybe the series admins should consider my idea of ignoring the lowest two scores.

And a quick work to nate, you know i'm annoyed at your intentional nudges around the 13th lap, but I'm not going to fight about it in our drift rooms etc and i'll just let it drop, it's down to what HMS and kamy decide.

Apart from that a good race today, most people seemed to have smoothed out their driving and are cautious of crashes, however a word of warning to those who are DAMAGED, be carefull when other drivers are passing, priesty swerved then shot accross the track in front of me, slowing me down, and was very close to wiping me out of the race.

Have you seen the Reply? (by the way I didn't swerve, that makes it sound like I did it on purpose)

S**t was VERY close!, I had 2 smashed wheels which made me clip the grass then I had no control where I was gonna end up. I didn't realise anybody was behind me tbh as I was concentrating on trying to keep myself going straight!

I know a few other had damage too but I literally have no idea how you can continue to drive normally. I have to pit straight away with any damage as my car becomes uncontrollable

The standard models don't have a different damage level do they?

Sorry for the bad wording, yeah I knew it was accidental don't worry. Didn't see that part of the replay but it was crazy close when you shot accross haha.

Two damaged side wheels will have a serious effect, one wheel will be drivable but have a huge impact on braking, and reduced turning in one direction.

All in all a good couple of race. I must say I was expecting the front wheel drives to have to make two stops therefore giving us an easy-ish win but that was not the case!

Nate & Chris - I am yet to see the footage but Kamy & I will make a decision between us and let you know what the penalty is if any.

If anyone else has any incidents they would like addressed please PM me with the details and we will look into it.

The knock in the sprint race between me and kamy on the chicane, 1st lap, did seem to cause him to crash at the first corner. I can't pretend there wasn't contact, but only you guys watching the replay can determine who is to blame, if anyone.

a non intentional racing incident is fine, these things happen. Deliberately causing your opponent off their line is not ok.

Yeah, we were side by side entering, and leaving the chicane, so some
Sort of hit was innevitable. I try to be as clean as possible, but sticking next to Kammy had to be done in order to stay up in the grid. I was just concerned that the hit practically stopped him winning, but hey, wasn't like it was the only crash that did so ('remembers corner 3 of the feature race ')

I thought rubbing was allowed, it happens to me a lot... Plus, there was no crash, chris didn't get damage and if anything, all it did was slow me down...

Na it's cool, I knew what you were on about but others wouldn't have so I just thought I'd mention it.

On a different note rubbing IS racing and contact should be allowed (non deliberate of course). If it was no contact then what's the point?

It's a fine line tho as having heavy damage makes more realistic but on the other hand your race can be ruined by someone else for not fault of your own

Okay just watched it back, the contact on the hairpin was me locking up, the rest of the contact was just chris blocking me, take note of the two intentional rams he does on the straight aswell...
Come on, after what happened to me at Nurb and the fact I would probably be in first if I hadn't of crashed on the chicane, Do I really deserve a warning for a few rubs?

Edit: lol James you cut the chicane on the last lap, that how you caught up to me

All in all a good couple of race. I must say I was expecting the front wheel drives to have to make two stops therefore giving us an easy-ish win but that was not the case!

Well in race 2 I got good off the line and did 2 quallifying laps. Did a 2:13 in the first lap and then a 2:10.586 in the second. That and probably some fights for 2nd place gave me a lead of 15 seconds. From then on I just have to focus in puting some good laps in while saving the tires. I suffered a bit on the end of 1st stint, probably because of the fast laps on the begining, and the lead went down to 9 or 8 seconds. I also went wide once in turn 1.But I pitted 1 lap early and put a good out lap and lead was back to 15 or more seconds.
Just took it till the flag without big tire wear this time.

lol yeah, wasn't goin too badly, nice and smooth for the most part. had a bit of an issue going into the chicane on about lap 4 of the main race and unfortunately collected Knight, ended up having a pretty good battle with him though as we both struggled with damage. I was running with the mazda's in the first race until I messed up going into the hairpin and lost loads of ground to them, ended up with a safe 3rd in both races though so can't complain too much

Nate I've watched the video and listened to what you were saying on chat. In my eyes it was definitely intentional. However Kamy must also agree and a warning isn't going to affect anything points wise. My advice is if you do end up with a warning take it on the chin and move on.

Sooo, it's okay to hit a car if you have been hit in a previous race by another driver, but it's not okay to nudge a driver who has hit you 4 times in the last 3 corners. And it was still only one nudge to get my point across, as you didn't seem to listen to me telling you to stop hitting me.

I'll take the warning just so we can move on, I could have you at any point...
Honestly, people have given me 4 wheels and engine damage and I didn't complain this much.

Yeah, I ruined jimmy's second race a the Nurburgring cause of my car getting uncontrollable whilst damaged. I'm pretty sure I only had one wheel damaged too. The level of damage is quite annoying. It's not enough to make you crawl back to the pits at 10mph, but at high speeds it seems to suddenly get worse and start throughing cars across the track. Maybe it's because I'm using a DS3?

Sorry mate, what's your PSN? (abit confusing sometimes as different people have different PSN/GT Id's)

I know what you mean tho, I use DS3 with D-Pad for direction. I always thought it might be easier to control damage with a wheel but not sure.

Yeah, even using the analogue stick, it's impossible to keep the car straight.

That's similar to what happened with me a jimmy. I moved over to the right to let him through but then the car swerved left as he pulled along side. I don't think I'll risk going over 90-100mph if I'm in a similar situation.

It was some brilliant racing (well race 2 for me anyway) and definately a lot cleaner I thought - except for whatever was going on with Chris, and KnightSpirit?

Eitherway, it certainly shows that we do have what it takes to be more courteous to each other, I think rounds 1 & 2 was just a mixture of everybody being a little over excited being the start of the season, and generally pushing just a little too hard....

Hopefully things should start to settle down a bit now though, and hopefully somebody will make a start on reigning on Kamy's lead in the championship haha!!

I have. (by myself) Fun track. There should be a test session first because it's a hard track to past on and no doubt everyone needs to learn how we go around the track with out causing a massive crash.
