when the Zr1 is faster pretty much any race modded, Viper, BMW's I can go on and on.

Its not because you blocked the FD its because you failed to recognize all the other cars.

Its how you tune them. The fd spurit r is faster than any car at drifting, and when its tuned right its FAST. So you must have it tuned wrong and most likely no downforce.

Ask Sai he would use his FD everywhere but the BMW Z4 is much faster...For him... I will agree though sometimes I have no problem keeping up with people, but I switch cars and its the same thing

I bought an RX7 Spirit R a while back, JUST to test this, I did an aweful drift lap around Tsukuba. Then did 8 laps in my usual drift car (RX8) and the RX7 was at least 2 seconds faster, usually more.

The RX8 is a quick drifter aswell, You can slow the cars down easily I think, but its really hard to speed them up a considerable amount. (Try using an S15RM against a vette)


Also, I was keeping up with a friends Vette in my RX8 yesterday, I was actually faster sometimes, may of been the lines I was taking also though.

Basically, if you take vettes out you take RX8 out, and the list would go on, imo just the RX7 Spirit R as from what I've seen, (been drifting pretty much since release online) it is consistently faster than most / all other cars.

One man, that knows his setup's getting his Z4 to be faster, means nothing.

It was two zr-1's that made it to the finals of the first round of vdc. They are way faster. But I'm not complaining cause if I can't best it, that means I need to be faster with my fairlady z

I take it you havnt seen a couple of the Burst boys in their ZR1's. Lots of angle and plenty of speed, whether there under 600bhp though is the question.

Spank from having a ZR1 perfectly setup i know that if i tune it to go faster i will lose angle and thats not something i like. i know a guy who runs a big spoiler on the ZR1 and it ruins the drift ... so those with that will, like i said probably not get through!

I have sai's z4 and to be honest its not that fast. The spring rates are very low, downforce low, alot of camber. 3.5 on the rear. So i dont know.

Is that his actual z4, or just the setup he gave out? I'm pretty sure he has his own setup that's way more competitive than the one he gave out.

Alright, I didnt want to say anything about this, but this is starting to annoy me as I love the RX7's. I understand that you guys think that the RX7 is way fast, but there ARE other cars. I always used my RX7 for competitions, but ever since you guys started the whole complaining and banning of rx7's, I have found sooooo many other cars that are just as fast, if not faster than them (including, as everyone says, the corvettes). ALSO, as I said in past discussions, suspension tuning and clean drift lines are IMPORTANT for making your cars fast. You cant just blame just it on the car. I've spent countless hours setting up and perfecting all my cars to handle the way I want it to, in search of grip and speed.

edit: Also, just to clarify, I barely use my rx7 anymore haha

ok let me go over some brief tests with the RX7 then.. the vette has close to 600hp standard.. if you can high speed drift with it stock then good luck!! thats the point im putting out here..

No, he sent Duman his car and duman gave it to me cause at the time he didnt have a wheel

This the truth Marc... The RX7 is a fast car but I don't feel that it is dominating fast. Not to talk smack or anything on ya Marc () but my M3 was faster than your RX7 in the drifts and you couldn't pull on my M3 at all... Now your driving M3's and your consistently at my door... 👍 LOL!!

In all honesty, I do not even own the premium RX7 on my account. LOL! What's up with that?? Maybe I should buy one just to see what all the hype is about (unless you have an extra one you can send me Marc? LOL!)...
