Bare with me ladies and gentleman. Qualifying track layouts and a cut-off date will be released soon along with a list of drivers and judges

I hope it's sometime in the next 6 weeks :3 I'm currently moving house, and will have 100MB Broadband when I move, rather than this shi**y mobile broadband XD.

depends what car you using? lol

Once the application deadline ends, what happens to the people that submitted initially but not again. Can they just appeal when tey dont see their name on the roster. Basically, can you check you got my application again lol.

Well by the looks of things it may be the Jag, but give me 2-3 days. I've just bought an RX7 FC, and a E46 M3, plus I got a 2002 Turbo reward car so I could be picking one of them. Just let me get their tunes' sorted out and then I'll re-submit if I'm using a different car. Lol.

haha no problem. the answer to the question about those who have not re-submitted it looks llike there is no one that has not re-submitted by the looks of things. there may be 1 or 2 i might be missing but that shall be fine

Hello,
I just need to make sure that Lobbies for this Tournament will have Voice chat OFF
right ???
If Not, I wont be able to join ... So please make this point clear From now so that I dont wait for this tourney for nothing ...

indeed it is lifted until further notice. Tournament setup is nearing completion guys so here's hoping it shall be good.

Ok, I've narrowed down my car choice. It's either gonna be the E46, or the 2002 Turbo... now only if i knew a track which would be in the tourny... :sly: :P

Voice chat makes absolutely NO difference in connection. Most people don't have keyboards and communicating without a microphone becomes annoyingly difficult.

Very true!. Neither does bringing down the race quality. Its up to your signal. If you do not have a very good internet STAY AWAY from full lobbies, cause it just aint going to happen.

Its not our fault! Hes limited to 125kb/125kb and its true that he cant join lobby's with microphone. It uses bandwidth so your wrong.

I know its true he had a hell of a time in VDC. But if you do not have the bandwidth to be playing online games im just saying you shouldnt be online.

Using voice chat takes up 4-8 kbps of bandwidth for the USER WHO IS USING the microphone. It does NOT affect anyone else's connection. The reason he was having trouble joining the VDC was not because of the voice chat being enabled, it was merely due to his connection.

I've spent the last year working with international servers, so I'm not just shooting in the dark.

+1

Thats what im saying. Its only 125 kb both ways so ots about 8% of his connection. Though he has a good transfer rate. (whatever that is)

Oh, well usually when a judge etc he will commentate during the run or afterwards with a score etc so that may be odd to do with no mic but if its the only thing to do then ok!

Nono, still only the person USING a microphone uses up their OWN bandwidth. Doesn't affect anyone else. As long as he's not using one, it does not affect his bandwidth.

How long is this discussion about connections gonna go on? Not to sound impatient (too late), but when is there gonna be more info about this tournament?

the more info, like i said, will be very soon! trying to piece the last bit of the puzzle which is hard but it will get there
