I know its true he had a hell of a time in VDC. But if you do not have the bandwidth to be playing online games im just saying you shouldnt be online.

I'm kinda dissappointed with this attitude man ... I thought you Would support me on this one but nevermind anyway ...

Nono, still only the person USING a microphone uses up their OWN bandwidth. Doesn't affect anyone else. As long as he's not using one, it does not affect his bandwidth.

When you use a microphone I hear your voice ... right ?? So It surely Does affect me and all other users because I'm and all others in the lobbye are Downloading what you are uploading (which is your voice) ...
For your information, Voice chat uses more bandwidth than GT5 itself without it ... I can join rooms with 10-12 people in when voice is off with no problems at all but when when Voice chat is one and even if there is only 1 person in the lobby I see huge lag! If it doesnt affect your bandwidth (20mbps/20mbps if not more) it does affect mine which is only , as my friend powell said, 125kb/125kb ... the 1% if your bandwith is surely more than 90% of mine

With all do respect I didnt ask your Oppinion about this ... I asked D-spec ,He's the one running this and not you ... In VDC I respected your insintance on keeping Voice chat on eventhough I had much lag.

One more thing ... Even if voice chat is allowed Its only allower for the Jugdes ,only them are allowed to talk during runs all others should spectate ONLY and should not bother the drivers even with normal text messaging chat ...

Oh, well usually when a judge etc he will commentate during the run or afterwards with a score etc so that may be odd to do with no mic but if its the only thing to do then ok!

Thanks man I appreciate this alot ... When I'm not the one competing You can do whatever you like with voice chat , turn it on or off It's not my business
But When I'm the one competing I ask for turning voice chat off so that I can see car movements without lag ... thanks

Oh another thing... i don't have a crappy connection but it's not the best... my router is also pretty old so i lag out on certain days... I just wanted to know what would be the penalty for lagging out during a match...

Edit: Is this the way the whole tournament is going to go? We just record our selves and send it to you to judge, (or do it in front of a judge). Or are we actually going to do head to head battles? If we are doing head to head battles, when does it officially start. I need to know (Have to make time on weekend, due to having my son with me)

We will do head to head battles. I have a had ALOT of names put down and i cant obviously have everyone doing tandems so i'll need to narrow it down. The Names of those who have got through will be presented more than likely around the 21st 22nd, 2 days after cut off and from that, the names will be put into a generator and you will have your opponents there and then. Then you will be given a reasonable deadline.this tournament wont be rushed! so expect a little wait

Okay so we going to do it like Monstar's s13 tourny? You post the opponent and we find a time to meet with him and a judge. Then do our thing and the judge will decide who goes on. How many rounds is this thing?
