If anyone is missing Daft Punk's gritty sound around 1997 (think Rollin' 'n' Scratchin' in particular), the first four tracks on Kanye West's Yeezus were produced by them, and they sound great (Black Skinhead especially). Makes me wonder why they didn't just do the whole album since the first half is a lot better than the latter half.

Let the music in tonight
Just turn on the music
Let the music of your life
Give life back to music

God I can't stop listening to this song!!!

I wish they remix & re-release everything. I find the new stuff pleasant, but their earlier works were awesome. I still listen to both.

Anybody know if they going to release(sell) the remixed version of Get Lucky? I hope so.

Surprisingly it isn't available as some weirdo unofficial 12"! At least...not on Discogs. But I'm sure it'll be available in the near future

A bit harsh but best review of RAM I've found:

Also, watch "Limmy's Show" if you haven't.

Edit: Just realized; massive language warning.

Usually, its a bit sacrelige to remix Daft Punk, but Cherokee has hit the nail on the head with this. You MUST listen to this, guys.
The remix ruins the character of the original.

I don't want to say it's bad, but I don't think it's great either.

There are few exceptions to the rule of 'remix isn't better'. One example is Monsta's Tinie Tempah Remix, and I cant think of any more...

Instant Crush is the next single. They're filming in LA next month for the video.

:banghead:🤬:irked::mad:

Both work for me on mobile. I don't know what the problem is on your end, though.

On an unrelated note, EMI is ridiculous (to say the least) when it comes to uploading Alive 2007 footage. No one is making a profit off of these videos. The only people that recorded the concert is the audience members. Daft Punk has stated in the past that they didn't have professionals tape the concert because they didn't want to charge people extra to buy a DVD when their concerts were getting posted on the Internet. I'm no DP uploader, but I sympathize with people. I can't stand it when I try to watch concert footage or a remix to a DP song on youtube, its always blocked in the US.

Daft Punk fan right here! Have to admit, Random Access Memories is fan bleeding tastic.

I really enjoyed it. I bought the CD because I heard it was a good album. Never having listened to Daft Punk before, I didn't know if I'd like it. I have to admit, it has really grown on me since then and has to be one of my most listened to CD's. I might have to go buy another copy because I swear I am going to wear out or scratch this copy to death because I've listened to it so many times.

If you own a record player, buy it on vinyl. I have heard that they did a really good job with the quality of the pressings.

If you liked Random Access Memories, you'd most likely enjoy Discovery. Homework and Human After All were good too, but some of the songs in their might not appeal to newer listeners, although I don't know what styles of music you like.

I will have to check it out as I really enjoyed RAM.
