Did a couple more race B’s, got banged around in the first one a bit but did well in the second, including a 4x pass exiting the bus stop. :)

in that case....whoops! I changed my 2nd NA account to TPC_PoohBear. Felt like mixing up the name, but in a way that my friends should recognize. But yeah I agree, drugs are bad!

TPC_Pokey’s gonna have the same issue.

Trying a Race C now, hoping to gain some SR. :)

I figured I would give race C a real attempt since race B is getting dirtier by the race. Here is my full race report :banghead:

It's a sign, not worth going there. It was the most 'exciting' part of the race anyway. DR down the drain, bye bye SR, 2/3 of a lap is not enough to negate the disconnect penalty.

Tokyo then, since that was next up. Probably gonna regret it. Monday dirty hour at Tokyo in crap cars, whatever can go wrong.

Race C was actually kinda fun, had a few good battles and pulled off a few nice passes along the way. It feels like it takes a decade to finish the race, but it’s nice to have time to recover from mistakes and have multi lap battles with people. :)

At one point I had looked up thinking geez, this things gotta be half over by now. Yup, we were on lap 3.

I'm with you on that. :(

Also, where the heck are the aliens pulling in a 27..? Time to investigate.

It'll get better, man. It always does. Until it comes back

:banghead:

Yeah, I have no idea. I get really good drive out of the final corner, and the tenth placed EMEA ghost still pulls away from the line, in an '08 GTR. Then slowly pulls away for the rest of the lap.

Gonna need to wait for one of Mr Perel's track guides, I think.

To be honest, I'll be happy with a mid to high 28. That said, I am enjoying the novelty of being able to take Death Chicane flat out.

Yeah, I think it would be better at 10 - 12 laps instead. I might have sounded harsh in my last post (a little salty over being taken out almost immediately) but it did make for some close and clean racing with a few fun battles along the way.

Additional tyre options other than Hards every time would also be more interesting.

Holy hell you guys are pasting some laps together at Seaside. I started racing last night with a 31.4 thinking it was decent enough to do, have only started ahead of 10th once. Feel like I have been doing well but can't put the whole lap together. Have been over 1 sec up on that between races but never bring it home.

That said, maybe starting in the back isn't totally bad with the crashes I have seen

Aye.

I usually don't follow ghosts, but I'll need to do that for B's Trial.

No point in trying to improve any facet of the human condition for anyone. Nobody will hear it, so why should I bother?
If you come up with solutions for things that everyone agrees are problems, people will definitely listen. Make nuclear fusion work, develop a cure for cancer, develop a way to halt the ageing process etc, you'll have no problem getting people to adopt your solutions. The issue with trying to solve problems in something like GTS is that so many "problems" are only problems in the eyes of a small subset of people. I often see posts where people list all their top problems they want to see addressed and I don't regard a single one of them as a problem. That's why I ended up selling my Xbox, because it became clear to me that the developers of a competing game had no intention of addressing the things I regarded as problems, and GTS is a much better fit for what I personally want from a game.

Damn it's hard to get a crb at race B in the evening. Also fun those people that blame the truck not stopping in time when throwing themselves in front of it. "I wasn't blocking, just like to change lanes in the braking zone" uh huh. "I'm not driving dirty, 3 barge passes per race is clean right." They usually crash before the end of the race, often by rolling the car in front of them over there own front bumper.

Another one survived without a BS penalty, but still neutral SR from all the bumping. Try try try again.

Not the next one, down the SR ladder it goes.

Disconnected during match making now. Neutral SR!!!

It's a game. PD can be as transparent or un-transparent as they like. And it should make little difference to us.

PDs lack of transparency makes a lot of difference to us the players...

I also play a game called Rainbow Six Siege and recently the Devs of that game have tried to me be more communicative about how they go about making certain balancing decisions... That has soften the frustration factor in the player base by a massive amount...

I've personally stopped playing GT sport for little while due to my frustration that originates from the fact that I simply don't comprehend why certain decisions are made...

It might just be a personal example, but I do believe lack of transparency makes a lot of difference...

I might have expressed myself unclear. I mean that it's something we can do absolutely nothing about, so you either have to let it go or find another game.

I used to betatest a mod for COD called Heat of Battle and then I was also beta testing Battlefield: Vietnam before it was released to the public and yes, insight to decisions makes you understand much better. But if the company decides to keep a lid on there is nothing to do about it and to let it go is much better for you. Release and breathe :)

Thats where I come from too. I couldnt stand the endless moaning in forums about what we dont get for the xx-time. I sold my xbox and bought a used ps4 for the same money and solved my problem. Now I'm happy. There is so much worse out there.
