Ugh, why don't we ever get Blue Moon Bay Infield? Sainte-Croix? Alsace with Gr.3? Sardegna barely makes the rotation either... I have a new-found appreciation for Gardens II after last week, I feel like I'm missing out on those other fictional circuits as well. I could always do custom AI races, and I do, but there's no challenge there. I've only ever touched Sainte-Croix for the driving mission stuff. I've had some fun on Alsace with Gr.2, but that's a rarity as well. I really enjoy the original circuits in this game and they're so underutilized. Rant over.

Since I'm not too excited about any of the daily races, I spent a couple hours putting together a bunch of clips of my GT Sport daily racing failures. This compilation contains no victories or sweet passes. It's me making stupid mistakes, other people doing stupid stuff to me, and PD issuing some hilarious penalties. Some, I guess is just rotten luck. Feel free to laugh at me. A lot of you have experienced these same things.
Some of you may see yourselves in these clips, or someone you know. 👍
Sorry, it's long. The clips are all short. I found more stuff than I expected.

Funny love the car flying over the track, and yes most has happened to me especially the dead stop on the concrete pit bollard.
Perhaps a compilation of the unfair penalties should be sent to PD so they can see how ridiculous the system can be at times. Good vid. :)

That's 'cos they are all rubbish. Alsace and St Croix are way, way too long with so many meaningless corners. Blue moon is mickey mouse at best and Sardengna, ok but meh.

Road America, Road Atlanta, Donington, Hockenheim, Sepang etc ..... there's the solution.

St. Croix B is great though... in my opinion!
But all the real tracks will be in GT7 soooo, we can only wait.

Just a curious question:

When the next weekly races roll around, and none of them are combos that you particularly want to participate in, regardless of reason, do you participate in them anyway? Do you wait until they get updated the next week, or do you organize races in the Open Lobby? Haven't done any Daily Races this week and I'm not sure if I'll be attempting any next week, either; curious on Race A, but everyone immediately shouting "SR/DR Reset!" for Race C at Monza is a red flag for me.

Having major difficultys finding the right car for me, to go on race B with, think the 911 is the one. I just seem to just keep spinning out at the same places with all the cars I have tried, and I'm getting the same lap times when I can get a clean lap. :(

At least Monza Madness is always fun, something to complain about  GR.3 10 laps, plenty time to find some good people to race between the mess, i.e. if you don't care about SR/DR (which imo are pretty pointless at this point)

I used to participate in all races but not anymore. The daily race recycling has gotten to the point that it has become too tedious to deal with the nonsense on most tracks. This week has two dive bomb happy tracks and well another one that doesn't have any redeeming factors. Monza is dive bomb happy as well, but at least they're entertaining there with the heavy blocks flying all around

Anyway plenty other things to catch up on, The last of us 2, Creaks, Cuphead, Ghost of Tsushima, Flight Simulator out soon.

Too bad I can't uninstall the tracks I don't want to race anymore to free up some disk space 💡

All too short, Isle of Man pls

Lemme drive the 787B through there in the rain!

Hey if we actually had Road America and Road Atlanta and Donington, I (probably) wouldn't complain. I'm all for underutilized circuits. Sugo? Okayama? I'd be happy.

I am a brake hard, point her, gas out hard style.

Me too. But I have a tough time finding a car that will grip on corner entry for NGP. As I said earlier in the week, it's like an ice skating rink. Just a warning that tells me to stay away this week.

Don't know where that came from, but I find it funny that I favor the 7th, 12th & 34th best power to weight ratio cars.

That video explains a few things. First, you seem to have a problem staying in the lead at Big Willow as I do. Second, you've shown some of the best examples of just how flawed the penalty system is. And third, you gave away the secret. Now everybody is going to be flying to the moon at BW.

Nope. We do most of the other stuff you listed. I have 3 GTS accounts, so I have plenty of offline stuff in the game to catch up on.

There is that disgusting idiot to ruin a good performance in every race.
This is a B/B lobby with an S/B starting 10th if i remember right.
The idiot tries to push me out on the straight, i should have known better at the chicane. (Idiot spins few corners later and quits)

Down to p13 fighting up to 8th, rammed again by another idiot down to 12th.
Could get a podium at this race but finished 10th.

Finally got my monitor/mount in the mail. I'm still adjusting to the new seating position/perspective. Although I do find it much easier to tune out the 'noise' of the HUD information and focus on driving. And now I can race in cool air!

Sweet setup!! What kind of wheel or mod is that you’re using?

I've finished studying and I started practicing the Gr.4 cars for next week's Daily B... I've got to say, I've been here for like an hour and I'm just testing the cars for fun, and I'm having quite a few surprises ...

I honestly might run a few of them next week, just for fun. The hunt for DR will continue, but I'm going to enjoy myself. Same for Monza .

Edit: I'm enjoying this so much I'll just open a thread later about my Gr.4 car testing, jesus christ. I've forgotten how fun it is to simply time trial in Sport, in a healthy manner (not spending 4 hours to get one extra tenth of a second and pulling your hair off 👍!)

Not gonna lie really enjoyed Race B and Race C this week both have been very good for me
Race B, I've tried in several different cars all with good success, I think I've had wins in each I tried, always managed a 56.2 or better in anything I got in and I just jumped in it no practice which I wouldn't recommend

I always seemed to go faster in race than qualifying which was annoying when I kept missing out on pole I did a 56.2 in quali, often ended up 56.0 or even a 55.7 on a good day in the race

Race C my strategy and my pace was always really good, no matter what was thrown at me I could usually come back to P1 or P2
And I actually qualified well there so often on pole thankfully

I even did races from the back on the R4M account to chill out it's ranked BS at the moment and in race C I found my self 20 seconds in the lead after starting last which was crazy

My DR is high as it's ever been which tbh I'm quite proud of, the higher it gets though the more my arse is clenched when I enter a race with it

Ooooo look at the prity cars flashing in ghost, lol miss my brake point and end up on the other side of the world, it's nice at the very back :banghead:

What track and car? Just spend 20 minutes in an offline time trial. You'll see yourself improving in no time, even in cars that you've never driven before! I'm doing that right now with the Gr.4 cars.

I'd recommend saving your best lap ghosts and go from car to car to find your best one. While there's always a META car, it's always best to drive what you feel comfortable in, in fact I, for instance, really feel at home in the Lancer Gr.3, even though it's a very much ignored car, but I can fight well with it. I recommend having your brake balance at 0, so you get the most "how it was meant to be" feel from the car.

You won't be at the very back for long anymore .

I tested about 10 of them today. I'll do the rest tomorrow (except for FF). So far, the Jag is my fastest.
Actually, all of my cars are getting better times than when I tested them for this same race in February. I think they improved the tire grip, since then. 👍

I'm going alphabetical. Plus since I actually want to make some cool in-depth guides I'm taking them to other tracks and such, so I haven't done a lot. I've only done the 4C and the V8 Vantage; the Vantage I felt suuuuper comfortable in. If you haven't done it, try it. It flies through the chicane of death flat out and it goes over the kerbs like they aren't there, but it's pretty stiff on the cornering. Try it out 👍
